    They are all sooooo beautiful but I would pick the last one bc it's an independent house with room to put personal touches 💚💙❤️💕

    Love love love your videos! ❤ you have such a calming voice.
    Do you offer services for searching for specific properties for people? As I’d be interested in the next year or so!
    Can you do more videos on the buying process. What’s included and what’s not? How easy is it to set up utilities when you buy somewhere?
    Also. I’m from the UK, so what do you do about having a car? I’d only be able to come for 3 months at a time, so I would drive from the UK with my pets - be good to know as much as possible. Massive hug Claire xx

      @thatswhatilike_ Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Claire! It makes my day knowing you’re enjoying the videos. I try to get a feel from the comments about what people want to see and make videos based on that. I will definitely add a video on the buying process and all the practical stuff!
      About helping you with specific properties-when you're ready, I'd be happy to take a look! As for the car, I actually did a huge road trip in August in a rented car from Prague to Amsterdam all the way down to Tuscany. Super easy! Roads are great, just make sure you’ve got decent full cover insurance, and you’ll be fine. Heads up, though-Italy’s tolls add up (around €11-€16 per region), so be prepared for that. And fill up during the day if you can! Stations in smaller towns close around 7 pm, and after that, it's only self-service. Some machines are ancient-my €20 got jammed, and there is no one around to help!
      Other than that it's all fine , you and your pets are going to have an amazing time! Sending BIG Hugs right back ❤

    Beautiful homes are those towns close to international airports.

    • @ExpatTheExplorer
      @ExpatTheExplorer  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @SeynabouSow-bh1um The nearest airport is the Brindisi Airport to all properties. For Rome airport you need to take a train to Lecce (about 40 to 1,5 hour) and from Lecce a direct train to Rome (about 6 hours)

    Still working but can work from anywhere in the world
    Can you also let us know if these beautiful towns have a train that connects to Roma?
    Regards Mark

    • @ExpatTheExplorer
      @ExpatTheExplorer  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @mrdiamo Hi Mark, I think the easiest way to get to Rome is by first heading to Lecce. All four towns in the video have train connections within 40 minutes to 1.5 hours, and from Lecce, you can catch a direct train to Rome that takes around 6 hours. Check out the Rome2Rio website; it’s a great resource for finding different routes and prices. Good luck with the relocation!

    Can you explain "" 7% tax rate" of what please.

    • @SlegsBlankes
      @SlegsBlankes 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Only on your pension income.

    • @ExpatTheExplorer
      @ExpatTheExplorer  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @tednruth453 Italy offers a 7% flat tax for retirees who move to small towns (less than 20K residents)in the south, like Sicily, Calabria, Campania or Puglia. This rate applies to foreign income and is meant to attract new residents to these areas. I have explained it in today's video, feel free to check it out.

    • @whiteknightlolly
      @whiteknightlolly 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@ExpatTheExplorer correct me if I am wrong, but I thought it only applied to the pension (hence “retirees”), and not the whole of their foreign income. And wasn’t it 10 years?

    • @ExpatTheExplorer
      @ExpatTheExplorer  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@whiteknightlolly I’ve double-checked, The 7% tax incentive is aimed primarily at retirees, but it actually applies to all foreign-sourced income-not just pensions. This can include income from investments, rental properties abroad, and so on. And you’re right! It was initially set for five years when the law was introduced, but now it’s extended to ten years. Oh bugger, I made a mistake🤨 - thanks for catching that!
