Unfortunately you see any ‘out of the ordinary’ driving by a police car, for whatever the reason may be, certain unscrupulous members of society start frothing at the mouth
This is exactly how the Police are taught to drive (or at least it used to be). I agree. Having driven that road several times in the past, that particular point always felt like the best opportunity to overtake for me. Plenty of view of the road ahead, pretty flat and quite possibly the last decent bit to overtake in that direction until you get past Carstairs

4:10 “rather than slowing and driving through a puddle” what actually happened was You didn’t slow down at all, gave not even a third of the braking distance required (assuming that’s national speed limit, but doubt that’s even the distance for 30 MPH), and the n those wet conditions I’m sure the braking distances would be recommended to be much further (double I think?). I only hope it’s you who gets seriously injured when you cause an accident and the innocent party get a good insurance payout from your insurers.
The Kia didn’t cut you up, you followed up the slip road & he took exactly the same line you did. You tried to bully him by tailgating & he showed you brake lights to get you to drop back to a safe distance. You are the aggressor in that situation.
Came down to the comments and I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one who would avoid standing water where safe to do so. Why's the police overtake in this? So many smarty pants drivers who think you can't see ahead (round a corner) by looking across the corner, it's an open field!
Nothing wrong with the Police overtake. They pulled out leaving a 'safe' space and proceeded to ensure the view ahead was clear for an overtake. Textbook.
3:11 yea footage says it all, your as bad if not worse than the BMW. Tailgating all the way up the the junction. Then a risky being overtake casing an issue up the road with a third car.
Did the Police reprimand you for your: 1. poor motorway merge and dangerous driving toward the Kia? 2. Accelerating to block puddle dodger's return to lane (it's only water, which can reduce brake efficiency for 1 example) They may have even given you a lesson about reading the road regards the Police car's safe overtake.
6:30 so stupid from the van,it’s how 2 of my coworkers lost their lives while overtaking traffic and gone head on with lorry and died on impact.. Really no need just be patient lives too short
So many very bad drivers recording themselves, and posting to these channels. That attempted overtake coming from a slip road is shocking. The brake checking was unwarranted but to think you had right on of way. The idiot overtaking the BMW I hope your license is revoked.
@4:40 Nothing wrong with the police overtake; you can clearly see the road through the fences and the white van before the driver starts the overtake..
It's also called taking an unnecessary risk when view was completely obscured by the lorry. Nobody could have reacted quickly enough if a bike had been flying through the corner. He didn't even take a peek, pulled the whole car straight over the line. It was clearly a rushed decision as he forgot to indicate. Could have waited a few seconds and done it 100% safely. Would he have done it with his wife and kids in the car...doubt it.
Firstly, the Peugeot driver was correct to avoid the water. The Police car's manoeuvre was fine as they pulled out to see whether the road ahead was clear to overtake which it was and I guarantee the Police driver knows the hazards on that particular stretch of road. In contrast, dashcam driver was too close to the Police car which is just shite driving. Wife driver deliberately antagonised the Range Rover and should have been done for careless driving for stopping with the sole intention of blocking the Range Rover's ability to pass. Some bad driving by others but DF being a wanker by constantly sitting on the horn and deliberately squeezing the space for the van overtaking the stationary traffic. DF is finding these incidents because they themselves don't know how to drive safely.
Just because someone has a camera doesn’t make them a good or even safe driver. A number of these camas were clearly driving too fast for conditions and poorly positioned. An example would be “it’s difficult to break check someone if they’re not up your bottom” .
I'd usually agree with you but I'd make an exception in this instance; on the grounds of excremental driving and a 'hugely-inflated ego' vibe from, apparently, a 'Mega-twot'...
If someone drives two inches from your bumper and you aren't in a position to pull in, what do you do? A touch on the brakes reminds people that they should keep their distance. A real brake check is when you dangerously brake and force the car behind to slow precipitously without reason. I do slow right down if I'm being tailgated, it's instinctive. Granted in this video it was probably unnecessary, but it was provoked. If he showed the video to the cops, he could himself be prosecuted.
@@RUBBER_BULLET: reading is obviously not your strongest point; for, if you notice, I said some cammers. It is primarily an Irish and UK channel and all other cammers show the area they are from; also also, you have obviously not watched cinema sins.

Half of these “incidents” were non events that a little less aggression and a bigger gap would have sorted. We’ve all made a manoeuvre that we regretted moment later - cut your fellow driver some slack and chill.

3:52 This guy needs to learn how to drive. The reason that Kia moved lanes is because he's overtaking. The reason he brakes is because the vehicle in front of him does. Zero awareness from the cammer.

Quite right. 👍
Police overtake - got their view across the hedge/fence line, saw it was clear and safe, then overtook. It's called advanced driving.
Absolutely correct. 👍
The police vehicle made a perfect overtake, if the person with the video thought there was something wrong he should be driving
That first one sounded like a clip from the Scottish Pingu vid.
Yes, that was certainly an avoidabout at 05:10!
The police bmw that’s how proper advance driving is taught much safer to pass a heavy can’t see much anyway😊
👍
Cop did nothing wrong, are taught to step out take the view and overtake or make sure can return to their side of the road
👍
Driver in the red car recording is a major helmet. Driving up everyone's arse and saying it's their fault 🤣
Just because someone has a camera doesn’t make them a good or even safe driver. A number of these camas were clearly driving too fast for conditions and poorly positioned. An example would be “it’s difficult to break check someone if they’re not up your bottom” .
Police need to have dedicated DAshCam Officer in each station so videos can be downloaded quickly and driver traced and fined.
Is it only me or are there a lot of bad drivers on here trying to justify their actions!?
4:17 Anyone that gets out their car to harass another driver needs to be jailed or fined
I'd usually agree with you but I'd make an exception in this instance; on the grounds of excremental driving and a 'hugely-inflated ego' vibe from, apparently, a 'Mega-twot'...
Alistair drives like a plank then wonders why the white BMW driver reacts the way they do 🤔😵💫
Faces covered, no helmets, no numberplate and all you can come up with is they clearly don't know about traffic lights 😂😂😂😂😂
how many clips are you going to reuse? I've pretty much seen this video already
0.51 Is there enough space to safely pull in between the 2 HGV's or are they travelling too close together?
Brake checking should become a criminal offence!, the amount of people not using roundabouts properly is unbelievable !
Brake checking is Dangerous Driving which is a Criminal Offence!!
I am glad some of the cammers let us know that it is the United Kingdom, otherwise we would all be confused.
Even the clip from Cork?
@@RUBBER_BULLET: reading is obviously not your strongest point; for, if you notice, I said some cammers. It is primarily an Irish and UK channel and all other cammers show the area they are from; also also, you have obviously not watched cinema sins.
@@davidstevens-k6f Imparting clear information is obviously not your strong point.
@@RUBBER_BULLET: You rest my case perfectly; for, how is "some cammers" not clear information?! You should also quit while your behind.
@@davidstevens-k6f On a video titled "UK DASH CAMERAS" featuring cars with British plates, you need to be told on each clip that it is from the UK? Is that to avoid the confusion about which you are worried? I don't think that even you know what you're trying to say.
Half of these “incidents” were non events that a little less aggression and a bigger gap would have sorted. We’ve all made a manoeuvre that we regretted moment later - cut your fellow driver some slack and chill.
That very last bike clip what can you expect? Clearly stolen bike, no licence no insurance no helmet. You can’t then criticise them for going through a red light lmao I don’t think they really care.
I’m still surprised how many people on these clips can’t tell the difference between their brake and their horn 🙄
Some of these drivers with cameras have no idea on how to read the road ahead.
The magic roundabout in Cork
1:21 - I would stop on the other side of the lorry - motorways are extremely dangerous just after a crash.
These vids always make me think...it takes one to know one.
Regarding cars cutting in i spent time as a second man moving static caravans usually 12ft wide many many times we in a queue cars just had to pass us then have no where to go often more than one
3:52 This guy needs to learn how to drive. The reason that Kia moved lanes is because he's overtaking. The reason he brakes is because the vehicle in front of him does. Zero awareness from the cammer.
AlistairKakles nomination for the most clueless driver 2024. Pathetic road sense.
The police driver was driving in an excellent advance way with full view of the road from his position. Until you get in that position you won’t understand that view is available!😎🇬🇧
Quite so. 👍
