@@thedon219 I just picked up a group of 15 from another TH-camr, one of the parent fish is from the dojo. Right now they are about 1.5”. Can’t wait for them to color up, hoping to get a pair.
@@Rscmgw23 dude, that’s so exciting man! I’m pumped for u. That’s gonna be so awesome and fun. I need to move some fish around and sell a pair or 2 off to make room before I can buy anymore fish. But my first type will be Cubans if he has any.
Super excited to watch them grow. Was worried about them not eating but they are all eating great. The 4 norino red terrors are doing great as well. Currently looking for another 75 gal to setup for them and move them into as they are in a 30 gal right now. But love the videos and love seeing the fish they will grow into. If you ever end up doing mesoheros id love to purchase some of those !
Really love those Freddies. That bigger male is an effen stud! That cuban pair is outta control too. Absolutely love your taste in fish man. Very similar to mine. Any species youve been thinking about keeping but havent yet? Im dead set on either Rio Yanacue or Rio Mag umbees for my big tank. A lot of others running through my mind too lol. Its a sickness, but better than a crack habit...
Thanks man, appreciate the comments. Not really anything on my list that I must keep but some species I wouldn't mind doing again. Umbees are one of them
@thecichliddojo4245 maybe Hatiensis since you've had such success with the tetrecanthus? Umbees are my biggest want of them all, especially those Yanacue Umbeeking brought back.
@thecichliddojo4245 I've heard that about them. I've heard that Andy Woods in Britain had really good luck keeping them without bloating. I've been told that stress gets them. Especially when they get moved to another tank. Maybe some parachromis la Ceiba instead? Or Lyonsi? God, I'm drooling lol. I could what if for hours.
@@thecichliddojo4245 ok, cuz I have a 75g and was wondering if I could get away with a pair?!?! That’s good to know!! Thank you so much for the help and wonderful videos of the collection!
Those are all beautiful fish but the aggression between them is what’s hard for me to manage. Having a large tank and just 2 fish in it is what I’m not fond of. You’re doing great with all that fry. Not easy to sell either as you have to have specific people who would want them. Good luck
Can i ask why people always bang on about wild caught or f1 fish when they look the same to tank bred fish. Is it just to add value to the fish or something? I hope this doesn't come across as me being an idiot i am just curious. I See it alot in the hobby a fish might have a tiny red slotch and it will be labled like a hyper red its like no its a regular fish with a red splotch stop making things up. Love your fish, dude, thanks may i ask aswell the fish you show after your jd fry what is the name of them they are beautiful.
sweet vid man
Thank you

I actually attempted hatiensis and all bloated.

Hit me up when the fry hatch. Im super excited
There haven't been fry for almost 2 years
How small could you get away with keeping a pair of Cubans in? I notice you have the tank cut off…? Always fun to look at your amazing collection!!!
Thank you so much. I Think a 60g would be the smallest I'd go for a pair

Basically about genetics for breeding. Completely different than a trade name
I’m interested in some Festae fry. I do not have social media, how else can I get in contact with you?
You can email me your number. Maat112@hotmail.com
Do you think they are as aggressive as Hemichromis frempongi
No idea, never kept them
How do I get ahold of you about fish
Best ways are to message me through my other pages linked in the comments of this video. Otherwise you can email my you number and I'll text you
