      I have no idea how Sia didn't say "Bang!" after show you JJ. That would've been hilarious, for us of course. Lol. Hey man, you're playing an aggressive, winning style. There's going to be days like this and even worse when you move up in stakes. Just ask Garrett, Ivey, Dwan and others. But you'll be crushing it on others and it'll make it even sweeter because of days like these. Hang in there. Keep grinding.

    Despite the nature of the session, you really bared your heart in the outro and showed us, not just the values you have as a poker player, but also as a human being. That was a tough one. The run good will come, the bangs will get bigger and you will only get stronger. Thanks for a great video :)

    Your character and professionalism shined brighter than the sun. Great play variance was the only thing I saw and the KK, I would have called so I would have taken the extra $1K hit. Your lesson in this game was far more than the loss. The money you will get back, THANK YOU FOR SHOWING THE COMMUNITY HOW A TRUE PROFESSIONAL HANDLES A BAD RUN, YOU ARE IN A CLASS OF FEW BUT AN EXAMPLE FOR MANY.

    I started off and liked you early on because you were humble.. many of us turned away because you kinda got high and mighty. But you really proved yourself in your devastating defeat.
    It's easy to act well while winning. You were humbled and you made poker proud and your family.. 100 times better handled it and mature then hellmuth

  • @pokerbrandon
    @pokerbrandon ปีที่แล้ว

    17:14 the 99 hand, you said it yourself that you basically knew you were gambling there. You knew you were most likely bad facing that BB raise, meaning you KNEW you had to hit a set. But, you Called? Bro, either you trust yourself or you don’t. If you trust yourself, Fold there, the odds aren’t right. If you trust yourself but you want to gamble, ok, but don’t be upset with a loss, you’re supposed to lose, expect that. If you don’t trust yourself, bro, you have to learn too if you want to be a winning player.
    Then, after the Flop, you hit a set, but you don’t bet? Why bro? Assume she has AA, KK, QQ, JJ, and you bet big on the flop, she puts you on a 9 & raises you, you go all in, she’s committed, you win it all, disregarding the outcome in this circumstance.
    Basically, you make reads that you don’t capitalize on. Then why make reads, you’re just gambling for fun or throwing money around for fun. If that’s your thing, cool, but I’m pretty sure you want to be winning player.
    Idk, I jus think you’re better than this buddy. The way you speak on the hand, I can tell.

    One thing to help you out, if you are 3betting utg open with KJ off and you flop a flush draw/ 2 overs you definitely don't want to check with position. You are giving hands like AJ/AQ free turn cards also if you bet you can get to the river for cheaper vs checking back flop

    I think you played the hands correctly all of them except the one with the straight. There’s so many hands that get boats there that people play like 67 suited 7-9 suited all of which someone would slow play and that’s exactly what happened I wouldn’t rip it all in with a straight just calling seems like the best play not raising on a paired board other than that it was just straight coolers for you and I feel that sucks it had to be on live

  • @GeneKassman

    Wolfgang, that was rough, you ran really bad but played extremely well. A lot of people get on hustler and when things don’t go their way. They act out and make themselves look really bad. I have to say, I had a high opinion of you before but this was next level. As to the future of hustler for you. I think of you, Ethan and Mariano as growing players. You know better than the fans how much ethan was losing and the same with Mariano. But now they book more wins than losses. There is no reason why you can’t be crushing as well. Please do not let this deter from the ability we all know you have. Much respect Wolfgang.
