thanks a lot for the valuable info Henry and I have a question if i am a system administrator do i study cloud engineering courses first or go to study dev ops roadmap first , thank you for the help
Either is fine. DevOps will be broader and cover more areas. Cloud Engineering will focus on a specific cloud platform/Infra as code. Usually there is a lot of overlap between the content of these courses anyway. Go with whatever interests you more.
May vary depending on location. I would say generally there tends to be higher demand for AWS professionals but have a look at job boards in your area and see where the demand is.
@@homebrewhenry I've seen a lot of Azure and AWS, i'ts hard to see which one is most in demand here in Sweden. Seems like most companies using Microsoft solutions.
The responsibilities are very similar. “Cloud Engineer” in one company may be equivalent to “DevOps Engineer” in another. Just depends on how they decide to advertise the role. Broadly though, Cloud Engineers will be more familiar with a particular cloud platform vs DevOps eng. DevOps may be more familiar with other things like CICD. But there’s a lot of overlap.
every mf wants to be a youtuber even though they have very high skillled and well paying jobs seems very far fetched that you actually like your job very
Cloud Engineer is for sure a great role! Great video!
Thanks! Big fan of your channel! Great AWS related resources.
@@homebrewhenry Thank you 🙏
I'm planning on changing careers and cloud engineering seems the way forward
Good luck!

Great tips, can you do a video on potential business opportunities in cloud
Thanks, what kind of business ideas do you mean?
What cloud provider should I focus on? Azure or AWS, where are the jobs ?

Do you get a monitor or do you have to hunch over a MacBook Pro like most SaaS developers?
Depends on the company tbh.
Is DevOps aka Cloud Engineering?😅

What programming languages do you use
Terraform (more of a tool than a language) and Python mainly.
@@homebrewhenry thanks
Is coding a must to become a cloud engineer?
You should be familiar with at least one language and be able to do basic tasks.
@@homebrewhenry kindly elaborate a bit on, basic tasks like?
@@AnkitGupta-sw1mddoubling down on that as no one talks about basic tasks

Why does doing TH-cam mean I don’t like my job?
I like doing TH-cam. I like my job too.
@@homebrewhenry yea keep telling that
