As a power plant engineer For synchronisation 4 parameters are required. 1. Voltage 2. Frequency 3. Phase angle 4. Phase sequence If voltage and frequency parameters are matched then after synchronisation will be done when the phase angle will match, and synchroscopes will give indication when phase angle match.

You can check it's NCT and IO,IG current during running.if its running value Zero found system healthy...u r ACB Et unit or NCT may problem..once do Ground fault setting OFF and keep enabled it upstream braker.. wether it's running normal problem in u r ACB..same upstream braker tripped on EF something went u r system
