Somehow the entire leadership and most of the party has become RINO. They stole the name, while preserving zero of the traditional values that make up the Republican party. Also no. I think programs that work should be kept, and we should help people that need help - that's what it means to be a citizen of a nation. I think wasteful spending and programs which don't earn their keep should be cut. I don't see any reason for people to go hungry in America, or want for shelter. I don't think healthcare is a privilege in a modern society, it's a basic human right. I support decisions that save American lives, or improves the quality of them. That includes taking a global pandemic seriously. I like ideas such as liberty for all. Equal opportunities and equal justice, whether you are rich or poor. These aren't 'leftist' agendas, these are the ideas in our Constitution which I believe in, and which every American should believe in.

Somehow the entire leadership and most of the party has become RINO. They stole the name, while preserving zero of the traditional values that make up the Republican party. They put more effort into spreading lies and disinformation than they did into forming a cohesive, relevant platform for 2020 and governing combined.
I don't think Republicans are evil or bad, or even have bad ideas, I just don't think any are elected right now. Or very few. Or those that are don't stand up for their beliefs, so what does it even matter?
We need Republicans. We need a party to oppose and galvanize the Democrats, to make ideas compete with one another. We need the letter R on the ballot to stand for something besides dishonesty, racism, and propaganda. Better yet, we need to stop printing the Ds and Rs on ballots altogether and make people pay attention to the individual candidates instead of letting these two parties turn our democracy into a binary choice. It's not. Politics is not that simple, and an uninformed public who wants to water it down into one of two bins that they can fill and forget is how we got here.
The policies I want in our government are things like small but responsible government. Do I want a bunch of spending and a national deficit? No. Do I believe social safety nets are our enemy? Also no. I think programs that work should be kept, and we should help people that need help - that's what it means to be a citizen of a nation. I think wasteful spending and programs which don't earn their keep should be cut. I don't see any reason for people to go hungry in America, or want for shelter. I don't think healthcare is a privilege in a modern society, it's a basic human right. I support decisions that save American lives, or improves the quality of them. That includes taking a global pandemic seriously.
I like ideas such as liberty for all. Equal opportunities and equal justice, whether you are rich or poor. These aren't 'leftist' agendas, these are the ideas in our Constitution which I believe in, and which every American should believe in.

He did a lot of shitting things as Senate leader but what broke the norms was not allowing Obama appointment to the Supreme Court seat to go through even though its within Obama rights. He argued that its too political to appoint a new judge during an election year then went ahead and pointed a lady that had no criminal law experience, who spent only 2 years practicing civil law, and taught most of her career. He pushed her nomination in less than 3 weeks which is the fastest Supreme court appointment in history of the US. People are calling this election rigged; and yet, someone how they manage to reelect him.
I see a common theme here. dems think republican's are evil and republicans think dems are evil! my question is when are you people going to realize that they all are all evil instead of picking the side of one of them? Now as you ponder that, think why both sides in DC hate Trump. Maybe because he is not one of them? He is for America not a one world government. For us the people of America we have to loose freedom to join the rest of the world , they don't want to give the rest of the world freedom like ours.
