See and Do -Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota

There is a lot to see and do here! The Little Missouri River winds throughout this western North Dakota park - Theodore Roosevelt - as to plenty of bison, deer, antelope, coyote, prairie dogs, feral horses and eagles inhabit the land. Climb the peaks and you will get exceptional views of the canyons, caprocks, petrified forest, and other bizarre formations that make up the badlands.

Great video! We live about an hour from the north unit. Spent 20 years moving around the country and overseas as a military family and we retired here 16 years ago because it offers.....peace. a peace you can only find standing still in the badlands, in the middle of lake Sakakawea or the middle of a gravel road surrounded by sunflowers and watch the sky explode in color as the sun goes down

Thor So glad to help! This national park is one of our favorites for the landscape, hiking and wildlife. Theodore Roosevelt, a former president, is an interesting person - he was the most influential person in establishing the national parks for all people to enjoy.
