I love nothing better than being in a dark theatre, not necessarily full, watching and becoming completely immersed in a great movie. But I had a moment in A Complete Unknown where it went beyond that experience and I said to someone after it was like I was there… what was strange is that it was actually beyond that, the movie kind of disappeared and I was actually there, back there, in the moment, it was similar to an out of body moment that’s hard to describe? Timothy gets soooo inside Dylan that you get to go there too. Ed Norton, a major fave all my life, was part of making that experience so real. I walked out of the theatre, walked straight into another one that just started the movie and watched it again. I didn’t have the odd experience again but I was definitely transported again
@Algorithm347 it was specifically about A Complete Unknown? It wasn’t about Ed’s other movies or Timmy’s other performances? He’s been asked plenty about American History X.

Why didn’t you ask about American history X By far his best performance
It’s ridiculous how good that film is and how good he is in it. I was a teenager when I watched it and it was very visceral.
