Wow thank you for this teaching. The Bible is very important to me. I need God everyday because I'm no good on my own.
I was addicted to getting high and had lost my first love to Jesus & when I wanted to return to God the enemy would try to convince me that Jesus wouldn't except me back, that I had done the unforgivable and that I was heading to hell, but Jesus has set me free!! Completely from that substance and He has reconciled me back to the Father and is restoring my confidence in Him!!

The Parable of the Lost Son always brings me to tears because it resonates so much with my testimony and how I came to Christ. I was lost but now I'm found! He has brought me from death to life! Thank you Jesus for saving me 💗

This was enlightening and powerful and WOW! Yes, how great is our God! I’m a new Christian. It was 2 years ago May 1st when god saved my life ( one I tried ending) I was a slave to alcohol and tried everything except him. I was sober for over 2 years and was indeed transformed. Not just the alcohol. Everything. I relapsed on Mother’s Day. By Gods grace I am back. It was just like the parable! I stayed in the dark. Didn’t get out of bed for 36 hours because I now knew it was a sim. I couldn’t read scripture and quit bible study. Which I have done 6 out of 7 days a week previously. I finally sobbed in repentance. After what he did for me I just couldn’t face him. Im so glad I watched this. I was asked to lead Bible study on the prodigal son and this was no coincidence. God bless ! Praise be to God

My father passed away when I was 15 I’m 19 now. My grandparents passed last year. They left a lot of money to be divided to there 10 kids. Since my dads gone my mom got the money. She split it between it between my 2 brothers and I. I’ve had it in my bank account for a couple months now and have not spent any of it. I’m going to give it back to my mom. For I don’t want to be a prodigal son. I didn’t work for that money so I shouldn’t have it.
Pastor Paul you are just so humble in teaching the word in almost all of your teaching you put yourself in to get your point across instead of pointing at people or throwing words and because of that it helps me too to just humble myself and admit my wrongs and mistakes more and more. I bless King Jesus for you Sir

THE PRODIGAL FATHER
My father’s voice booms around the house.
His heavy ring is on my thin finger.
His oversized coat covers my shame
and upon it his warmth and scents still linger.
The taste of pig pods are on my tongue -
a reminder of when I was at my least -

Are the sons supposed to represent born-again Christians, where one becomes backslidden and ultimately repents and the other is trusting in works-salvation, or are both sons supposed to represent unbelievers?
In every church sermon for this topic preach us only half, which mean the arrogant of younger brother who was lost and found but sometimes i think the main sermon will be on elder brother who stay home with father and become so jealousy when his brother return home and father's gave him everything,
So i want to know what is or what will be parable for the jealous brother😢😢

Am I the only one who thought the possibility that when the Father said "Son you are always with me, and all that I have is yours." He's speaking to Jesus?? Knowing the bible verse (John 1:1, the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.) Jesus was never get lost and Father forsaken the Lord for us.

The Father of the prodigal Son - I haven't read anyone talking about how Parents give their kids things at the wrong time. Could both the Father and Son be experiencing self inflected judgment ? Isn't it a type? God himself gave Adam and Eve everything in the garden but then God himself was saddened and he took the responsibility for giving them everything and had to send Jesus.. ( God left Adam and Eve access to the evil tree ) isn't that the same as giving your kids $$$$$$$$ and expect them to obtain from eating at the wrong table?
