I’ve ordered one, should be installing it tomorrow, if you’re still interested I can let you know. I’ve been using paperlike for like almost two years now
Thanks for this video! Overall, which screen protector do u think is the best for reducing glare while keeping screen quality? (Regardless of Apple Pencil feel I’m not a drawer) thanks 😅
Wish they had a version for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE :( I've been searching for a good screen protector for drawing. Matte glass seems perfect for me, but I'm having difficulty finding a good one.
Thanks for the recommendation! I received this screen protector and it is excellent, very finger print resistant and feels nice, but I do think there is a very noticeable amount of line wobble when drawing diagonally. Not sure how it will appear or feel in normal works but it is there.
no problem! line wobble is unavoidable with any screen protector unfortunately. The thicker and more distance it creates from the actual screen, the more you'd notice a wobble on slower strokes. So the only way to not have any wobble is drawing directly on the screen.
This might be a dumb question. I have the nanotexture ipad, but I feel a little bit annoyed by fingerprints and scratches (also I cannot use thinner metal tips with it…). I will lose that quality and feel? (I have tried ESR magnetic paper cover and it is as glossy as glossy as glass…). I don’t know it is worth a try or I leave it as it is. Thanks Jimmy.
@@DaniMarFor normal paper screen protectors are more reflective/glossy than your nano texture from what I remember when I saw it in store. But this matte glass one is insanely non reflective, even more than the nano texture is. But yes, I believe you would lose quite a bit of screen quality considering you would basically have 2 diffused layers on top of each other. I think just using your nano texture alone might be the best option for you but you are welcomed to try for yourself.
hi! i was wondering if you used any other pencil tips (like those ones on tiktok) on this protector? i plan to buy them so i was wondering if they scratch it
no problem! I haven't tried the nano textured glass iPad but the way people have described it does sound just like this without the screen durability so hopefully this is a good alternative.
@@JimmyLamStudioit is! Had the nano for comparison and there wasn’t that much of a huge difference. It was so small that I returned the nano and will keep the normal one :)
@@JimmyLamStudio unfortunately not at the moment bc the Mothca one isn’t available in Germany here yet. Till then I will see if I can get myself to draw on the bare glass cause it just looks stunning without any distortion on it.
Hi. Thank you for the great video! Could you please help me decide between Mothca matte glass, Paperlike, and Benks Matte screen protectors? I want to apply one of them to my M4 iPad Pro. The main aspects for me are the smooth texture of the screen protector and screen sharpness. I would appreciate your advice!
@@VKaely I’m personally using ESR’s case amzn.to/4dXInLo and I do have a review on that if you wanted to learn more about it but I have reviewed plenty of other cases if you wanted to see what may work better for yourself.
Thanks for your helpful videos! I have always used matte film protectors because I heard the glass ones reduce touch sensitivity. Have you experienced this? Maybe that's only the case with older ones.

The moment you put them on half the screen for a direct side by side comparison I immediately subscribed. Awesome reviews!
Thanks for the review!
Wondering how is it compared to the paperlike 2.1, in term of screen clarity, finger texture, and pen texture?

How do the colors and black levels on the mothca compare to the other matte screen protectors you've tried?
its about the same amount of dullness.

Ehy what matte glass s protector you recommend for an ipad air 5

Glad you found them helpful! I personally haven’t experienced any touch issues on any of the iPads I have used them on.
Should I get this screen protector to watch anime?
Why get a matte screen protector get a glass film or clear tempered glass screen protector then
There’s probably not much to gain from it in my opinion unless you just really hate smudges or something.
