I'm from Knoxville, and Yassin's is one of the best restaurants in the area. The amazingly welcoming atmosphere and the sense of community is stunning. The areas surrounding Knoxville have been resistant to outsiders even within my lifetime, but to see this change, and to see people from all political parties and faiths sharing this space and engaging in a friendly way has been a blessing.
