This teaches a technique where you can use multiple instances (not systems) of Form on one layer as long as you change the blend mode to "normal." Form 4.1.5 does not have a blend mode drop down under "rendering." Was this intentionally removed? Is it coming back? It is a really useful feature.

JUst talked to support. This feature was removed in Form v4.
I went in the designer hit duplcate (Bottom left) went back to AE made the x,y,z, changes ect

I dont have the Blend Mode at 14:49 do I have a diffrent Version?
Yes! The whole process of having two copies of the Form effect is now obsolete! Instead of having multiple copes, you can have multiple Forms in one effect (and they'll correctly interact with each other in 3d space too)!

Hello! I don't know what I did, I need your help asap! I applied Form to my project and it worked fine the first time. The Box-grid was in the middle. I goofed up, so I needed to start the whole thing over again. When I applied Form this time, the Box-grid was on the left side and rotated. It gets into the middle at about 11 seconds. I tried everything...changed the transform so it starts from the middle at the beginning of the video, but then it was like it was standing in one place till the 11th second. Soooooo...I need your advice please!! I bet it's just a click...but I don't know where it is! Thank you!
Curious what all the hype about "particles that dont die out" is? Dont get me wrong, I really like RG and recently got the trapcode suite. Im just curious why its such a big deal and if so, why dont other particle simulators do the same thing?
a new approach for situations that previously would require more work. seems especially good for any sort of HUD or display where you wouldnt want the particles to die out. alternatively, this could also be seen as a limitation as form particles do not die out, so you need to use particular for those uses.
I thought you could set the particles in particular to live forever.

This is a fairly old tutorial and some things may have changed since then. What are you trying to do and what's not working for you?
