S. Ve. Shekher is a Tamil actor, director, screenplay writer, and politician. He started his career by playing a guest role in K. Balachander’s Ninaithale Inikkum (1979) and later acted in a full-fledged role in his movie Varumayin Niram Sivappu (1980). Apart from acting, he was also elected as an MLA for the AIADMK from Mylapore Constituency in 2006. Currently, he is one of the spokespersons for the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party). In this interview, S. Ve. Shekher opens up his present stand in politics and his problems with BJP Tamil Nadu leader K Annamalai.
