In today's video, I do my best to improvise and give my car some character by creating a Kanjozoku inspired interior! Everyone knows this is where the EF Civic's originally got their name and many argue this is true JDM, even the Japanese themselves say that the Kanjo and Touge culture is the true era of JDM cars and what it means. So, in today's episode, that's what we try to embrace!

Been daily driving my b20 swapped 90' si for about 2 months now. it's my first manual, I still suck at driving it but it's the most fun car I've ever had. Watching your videos makes me want to go out and drive it haha. Can't wait to see more of yours in upcoming videos!

@@maxbriscoegarage I had a Honda fit before this, and that thing honestly out handled most things I've seen attempt to keep up in the corners. That thing went through an 8 hour road rally through the smoky mountains/tail of the dragon, and that thing stuck right to the back of the lotus Evora in front of me, and every straight they would take off, and every corner I'd be right back on them lol. This thing already feels like it has the foundation to become something phenomenal on a track or mountain road
Do you know what that check engine light is for? You can check by pulling carpet next to passenger side footwell.. you drive it till ce light comes on and count the blinks on the ecu
Yeah been dealing with it for over half a year now. It’s just 1 very quick blink and then disappears for 30 seconds. If you turn the car off like I did it just goes away and doesnt come back for like 2-3 weeks or longer. Believe its related to the small solution i made for the idle control and my intake pulling in air
@@maxbriscoegarage if it s 1 blink it's a code 1 which I believe is a oxygen sensor related could be sensor going bad or just wiring maybe shorting out to the frame somewhere
@@radelement3987 yeah O2 sensor has already been replaced by me and it did it before and after the replacement so to be real with u I just stopped caring haha. Never was a massive problem and ive already checked and redid all of the cars grounds and I dont feel like going in and messing with the harness since the car works fine as it is now. light only comes on once a month if that

for the front bumper, in europe we got phase 1 and phase 2, the phase 1 got small indicator and phase 2 is yours, maybe you cna find a 88-90 front bumper 👌
Second on checking what code you get when check engine light comes on. When the check engine light comes on, that's when you check for the flashing red light on your ecu.
And a d16z6 wouldn't be a bad swap. You'd just have to go from obd0 to obd1. And it'd be better if you could find an si tranny. Shorter gearing
i dont know if you watched any of my older videos but we discuss all the problems regarding the engine light and all the solutions i went through. ive been under the carpet many times with the ecu and actually tried 2 different ones and opened this one up thats in the car. I already replaced the O2 and grounds have all been redone so i think its just an issue with the old harness and I cant really be bothered to go in there and mess around with it since the car works fine as it is. Light only comes on once a month if that

@@hmmhuh12 codes were 16,4, and 1, we fixed 16 and 4 because those were obvious problems, "fixed" 1, but obvi rarely just likes to come back every now and then

@@hmmhuh12 old ones were blackish but that was back in may i replaced them with ngk iridium ones when i got the car. My brother is a mechanic so he helped me a lot in looking for stuff. Also funny enough my neighbor actually has an EF and has had it for 10+ years so he helped me go over everything and we couldnt find what was causing it

Front lip is from Ebay, make sure you get the EF hatch front lip. I think I have a video on my channel of me installing all of the aero from a long time ago where I talk about the stuff I got. Most of it is OEM though
