Great to see you getting into the spirit with this one by wearing your wizard robe!
Yes, definitely not having a Lazy Saturday!
@@TabletopImpulse You have missed off the "0:00 Intro" on the time stamps. You need to have that one in the list so that TH-cam can automatically spot the time stamps.
It feels like they finally made the team functional. The buff they’ve been giving to Warriors really shines in this team.
Man, they are more than functional. I think they are a realistic contender for best team.
They are broken. 2+inv saves alone is just bonkers
24:42 you need the box of three Sorcerers and a box of Ruberics for this team, so you should have a 4th Sorcerer to pop a warpflame pistol onto for ITD if you’re sane and don’t want to magnetise wrists.
I feel like it's probably possible to finagle it so you are largely magnetizing shoulders.
@majortom7186 The Exalted Sorcerers box comes with oodles of extra stuff. You can easily build 6 or 7 Sorcerers by mashing it together with the Rubric box.
@@ouroborostriumphant good to know, thanks. I have that box, but for myriad reasons I’ve never opened it or got around to building more than the test models for a TSons Kill Team. I might just get to it this time before it’s too late.
Second favorite Chaos Marines chapter. Seems neat. Thanks for the analysis.
No worries! Glad you enjoyed it.
I think you want Piercing Crits on Doombolt because the L5 gives you an excellent chance to get the Piericing.
Yeah, that's a good combo. I actually had that in an earlier draft of the slide deck, my struggle is then that boon to give the Warpfire fellow.
@@TabletopImpulse I think Devastating 1 could add a bit of extra power to Mindburn (which has rubbish damage but which will proc a fair number of crits)
I'd put the P1 onto the warp fire to make any torrent with their 5 dice do significantly more damage and to more people than the fire would normally do.
Personally I put the anti-obscure-o-vision or fly onto the doombolter because I like them as my single target shooter
I think there is a good use for goats, they can ga2 for a cp which can be good on itd.
I think that they can be used, and I think they aren't actually awful. But I think one marine is always going to be better than two goats.
@@TabletopImpulse the champion has a good shot at a double kill against horde models. I think 2 tzaangors is a good pick into teams like novitiates.
So curious how this team has been handled. Always was interested but I know they had so many issues
Hope I answered some questions.
@@TabletopImpulse you absolutely did!
Honestly you've become the chill Auspex Tactics of KT lol
Comment for the algo - keep up the great work!
Much appreciated!
I am the lone Tzaangor fan in the world, its so disappointing that every review on YT no one even *looks* at them 😔
Thank you for at least looking them over 🙏
For any other Tzaangboi fans out there, I like taking 4 of your choice and one rubric of your choice. That way you still get 3 sorcerers, a 2+ save rubric of choice (I like warrior, used to do icon), and 4 bodies that can get objectives done and or can heavily utilize the other synergies already present in the team.
Obviously using their strategic ploy is good for them but the warpfire free rerolls on top of that can help make them rip n tear. You can pretty easily get a free hit turned to free crit with relentless followed by ceaseless and other various reroll tech. With the shield you can be a thorn into melee teams, or get easy confirmed crits for felgors or damage.
I get using your command points for turning a 4 damage die into a 1, saving 3+ damage. But I love my Tzaangy bois and if you do too, their strategic ploys are pretty good and efficient in comparison. Mutant herd a bit less efficient but I'd say either more situational or expensive if you use it more than once. Theoretically can run them up, shield followed by the banner carrier in conceal hiding behind the shield. Mutant herd to charge them both in and have the banner essentially assist in melee in that one activation to turn that 4+ into a 3+ 4/5 ceaseless relentless and optional rerolls with warpfire or mindburn hurting the enemy ws/bs
I get that it's a lot of moving parts to get there, but also it's nice that the team can. Especially knowing it at all since warpcoven is about having a massive bag of tricks, and what better to throw someone off guard than some silly Tzaangy bois
Edit: forgot the shield is 3/4. I'm a bigger fan of the Tzaangor blades and taking mostly Tzaangor warriors and one champion. But if you need speed or damage mitigation the horn or icon bearer respectively are better than they used to be. Not a bad tech pick if you're used to taking Tzaangors
Second edit: old Tzaang blades used to be ceaseless, they are now using balanced instead sadly. Still pretty good.
YES THANK YOU!
You are very welcome!
3:13 you ignore the goats because it means not having to paint stupid blue bird goats.
There is that..
