In this video, I break down East Cobb County vs West Cobb County and discuss in detail the differences in the Schools, Housing, Things to Do, Taxes and much more!
Hi Anthony. my parent's live in Kennesaw and we will be visiting for the 1st time over 4th of July weekend. My husband works for Sysco Fresh Point and is looking to transfer down. Your videos have been very informative and makes us that much more excited for our visit and exploration!
Here's an older video I did where I talked a bit about Acworth, but I'll get another on the calendar to update this one th-cam.com/video/ScIjOtPExzI/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the video Anthony! You are always a wealth of knowledge when it comes to GA. I plan to move to Cobb County (probably West!) but not for a few years. Sounds like everything I need (parks, shopping, entertainment, things to do, etc). Seems like there is no need to even really go Downtown much. How is the traffic in Cobb County? I would think with 5 million people it is crazy, but to get around is it basically side streets and roads and no highways like 75/85 or 285? How long does it take to get around the area say from East to West? Trying to figure that out to see what it's like. I'm sure it takes longer around rush hour, so I guess how long outside that time? Although I know GA traffic seems like it is always rush hour, lol.
Thank you for the kind words, Niseygirl!! You always leave the nicest comments. 🙏Once you get off the freeway, it's the regular flowing traffic. You won't experience it much in the suburbs. As for travel time between East Cobb to West Cobb, it's obviously going to depend on which parts you're coming/going from but anticipate 15-30mins, give or take. Cobb is HUGE so you could cover some serious mileage if you're traveling to the extremes of the county.
east cobb DEFINITELY beats out west cobb in education. we have schools like walton (the only charter school in the entire county), pope, and lassiter, which place the highest on state rankings every year. just because these schools have been here longer doesnt mean anything. we are more established, but cobb county is cobb county, whether you go to walton or sprayberry or north cobb or south cobb or allatoona, the curriculum stays the same. however, these schools in east cobb have CONSISTENTLY placed higher, even after these newer schools were built.
@@LivinginAtlanta Like anywhere, there is good and bad. More of the so called "affordable" housing can be found in South Cobb....but......you better have at least $250,000. for something decent. West Cobb is getting expensive.....better have at least $450,000. to get started. East Cobb has always been expensive......better have around.....I don't know...more then West Cobb. Good luck with your business......I like EXP Realty......Go EXP!
There is tremendous human trafficking on Cobb, its said that Atlanta is the human trafficking capital of the western hemisphere. I have friends that are involved, internationally , tracking down human trafficking victims from Cobb. Yes, human trafficking is an issue in all Atlanta metro counties.

Thanks for the breakdown. I love the west side 😁
Live in Atlanta for 4 years. But East Cobb is my home. Love everything about East Cobb
East Cobb has a lot to offer and has been very kind to my business.
I would like to hear more about the Acworth part of Cobb County

Great content. Hope to see more! Are you getting leads from this?
I'd be producing much more content if I weren't so busy closing all the other leads from the channel..lol

Cobb is not just east and west. South cobb is totally different than both east & west cobb. North cobb is a blend of east and west cobb
That is very true and should be the topic of my follow-up video to this one. Do you live in Cobb?
@@LivinginAtlanta I moved to Cobb in the early 90's. I'm currently in Mableton but I've also lived in West Cobb and East Cobb

Hands down west cobb, mainly because the east is getting too woke and as a parent i want to keep my childrens mind safer.
I agree with you 100%
You can't hide history. You should want your kids to be woke, lol!!
I’ve lived in Cobb county since 2020.
Unfortunately the county is the fastest growing because it thrives on human trafficking.
I've lived here 25+ years and I can tell you that IS NOT why Cobb is the fastest growing county. Not even close
