Lecha Dodi is sung in almost every synagogue every Shabbat. There are hundreds of different melodies. This melody is arranged by Eliot Glazer in one of the Transcontinental Music books. He says it's based on an Ashkenazi tune. The style and instrumentation reflect the Mizrachi/Sephardi influence.
