The Wilson sisters showed the world that women can rock hard. Ann's vocals are unparalleled.
Fantastic group of the 70’s and 80’s. So great that they were asked to pay tribute to Led Zep at the Kennedy center in their 60’s! Watch it!! The two girls are Ann ( vocals) and Nancy Wilson.

they had a huge comeback in the '80s while I was in college, got to see them 2x in concert. This song has been in many movies. Heart was one of the first big bands (if not the first) to come out of the Seattle music scene. Their version of Stairway to Heaven at Kennedy Center Honors is just mind-blowing. They also performed LZ's Black Dog on one of their tours and it was equal if not better because it was just the band itself.
Heart is straight 🔥. Check out their songs " Magic Man" and " Crazy on You", both classics along with Barracuda. ✌

Their manager/producer tried to lie to the public, saying the sisters were incestuous lovers, trying to gain them publicity in a negative way. Well, these ladies didn't take kindly to that, so this song is a big fuck you to that guy. XD

This song is in my top 20 of all time songs! The drums and bass are so driving, the guitars go from locomotive energy to floating on the breeze, and the lead vocals pierce through it all like a spear!
This was a total diss track too! Her record label fed a lie to the public about herself and her sister. This song was written in response to a comment she got from a radio promoter. He was the "barracuda" she was singing to!
They can harmonize so well because they are sisters. They also performed "Stairway to Heaven" and did a wonderful job. Actually they got a standing ovation from the remaining members of Led Zeppelin.

This was done the year I graduated from high school LOL Unfortunately, I never got to go to any concerts: it wouldn’t have been allowed. I had their album though and could listen on the sly.
You might like checking out Linda Ronstadt (Adieu False Heart), all of her stuff is awesome, if you’re going back to the 70s ❤ You surely weren’t born back then? “When dinosaurs were around.” My oldest son, born in 1980 when I was 20, asked me that-he thought I was that old!! It’s all about perspective! 🤣🤣🤣
