This is basically the "Platinum Last Hitter Tutorial Step by Step" and I love it. Im mediocre and get silver 90% of times, so I wandered to the internets and sought the wisdom there. What I found on reddits and elsewhere, was that to get platinum, you cant miss a single cs, and that most people think its impossible, and theres only few people in the world who have done it on record. 1 day passes and BSJ uploads a literal tutorial where he achieves it effortlessly, if it wasnt for that one misjudged deny. Which we can basically all learn from and copy. Absolute god and legend my friend, god speed to you 💚 @Brian
I'm pretty bad and I've gotten platinum exactly once. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten 24 lh 23 denies though, for me the most often I miss a cs because of uphill misses. I'd say that's on me tho
Really good video BSJ. Fundamentals are often overlooked because we take them for granted, so this is good stuff for both new players and old players who need a refresher.
Since you are migrating from support to carry. Advice you to not play position 1. Its boring as hell. Position 2 and 3 are the best considering in position 2 you contest essentially 1v1 and in position 3 your main motive should be to deny the enemy position 1 and getting a few cs along the way which is way more fun imo as position 1 is always on more pressure to kill creeps in lane.
The DOTA world will become populated by bots. Imagine all these people training this everyday then go into a game and dont understand creep aggro or dont harass enemy. Pull a part of the enemy wave onto your ranged creep, be flexible and circumstantially reactive, miss a creep now and then to stack or get a rune early w vision, miss more to stop enemy farming their side camp when they are low then steal their jungle rune.
it's a fourth core dude, they need gold, four cores is better than three, IT'S OBVIOUS DUDE (please note this is sarcasm, i'm angry with the "supports" too)
OHHH I HATE that. Whenever the pos3 I pick isn't liked by my pos4 support, they just start instantly mocking me and saying "gg nice pick" before we have even fought anyone and start trying to steal my farm. Then, after they've either stolen half my farm, fed the lane, or abandoned the lane, they say "you're trash, cringe" meanwhile taking no responsibility for the fact that they just absolutely sabotaged my chances of doing ok early game. Especially when you're in ranked against a very aggressive enemy lane and so farming is THAT much harder. Know-it-alls who then sabotage the lane and then mock you as if it's your fault are probably one of the very worst things to occur in DOTA.
The warm up drill is good, however it lacks the basics: - use quick attack - use smart attack These two simple options increased my last hitting from 65% to 85%+. I also stopped right clicking on creeps. Combined with this video I also started noticing how bad I was at actually keeping the lane and last hitting creeps, something that is so cruical as pos1. And I am divine 2 lol.
do your best to get the last hits regardless. try to farm enough items to jungle/split push and hold tp for free creep waves. gotta try to just make the best of shit situations A LOT in this game
WK i use my crit by fake first hit and using it on second and it will use his normal atk animation not the crit animation which is much quicker then letting the normal animation
If your support is just hitting creeps you have to last hit them and force the wave out as hard as you can so it bounces back off the enemy tower. All while trying to deny as much as possible. It's miserable but someone skilled enough at carry can manage it.
Μy friend all due respect...but the point of a succesfull ''last hitting'' is when you face an enemy in the lane so you can show us how we secure the last hits from a quick deny. Showing us that pressing stop and then attack can get us the last hit is not really an improvement for a ranked game where our enemy has 7 fingers
Theres a biggest flaw here. You're against someone that is aware of this. Ofc he/she aint gonna let you do perfect cs or maintain creep wave equilibrium.
Nah the point is you react to it, thats why you think what to do. Another enemy hero is just a variable but the mechanic is still there. So theres no flaw to this basic mechanic, all you have to do is adjust on the situation.
What I do to warm up every day is:
1) Play 1 game on my herald regular account
2) Play the rest of the day on my bought Divine account
Did you do well in divine account?
This made me chuckle too hard, well played
😅😅

i use quick attack and i unable Smart attack move for denied creep and right click attack for attack creep.

Practice on last hitting on ursa to become a god
Yeah...lvl 1 ursa is so bad at cs ing
I always eat the given faerie fires so i'm super better at last hitting
my creeps always go away with 1 hp xD

niceeeeeee song while csing!
super helpful
It would be much easier to follow if you could use a video player without that huge play button in the middle of the screen :) Trust me, BSJ :)

if you want to master last hiting make new account and last hit in herald bracket.
