At last, the Class 74. Nice to see something that isn’t also being done by another manufacturer and is original. Though why Hornby didn’t retool their Class 71 is a mystery.
@@PadisherCreel with more than 500 Graham Farish items in our 2025 catalogue, plus more to be announced during the year, N is certainly not overlooked by Bachmann. Many thanks
If they do any br blue, I can guarantee it would be some sort of special livery worn by a single loco for a few years, it would be nice if they done another faded and weathered br blue loco
There's currently a ridiculous shortage of intermodal stock, dapol haven't done a run of there's for a few years either. They don't seem to be good at producing the right amount of some wagons, like how there seems to be equal amounts of generator and non generator jja auto ballasters, when only 1 in 5 should have a genset fitted
@@BachmannEuropeOfficial Wow! Now you have me straining at the credit card!! I loved your wagons, and can’t wait to get my hands on a lovely full rake or two!! I’m getting on a bit now so you need to hurry 😂

@@azuma892 it's frustrating, a lot of the toolings are almost as old as there prototypes, so if you want to model the early 2000s your looking for models first sold 20 years ago, but if you want to model the mid 60s there's an abundance of new tooling even for obscure classes and prototypes, yet there's vast amounts of dmus that aren't available even in kit form
@_RabbitLeader i was asking Keir Hardy how he made his 74 last week & it involved a cut & shut between a hornby 71 & silverfox 74 body. A lot of work to make a reasonable model. This is a very good announcement for me personally as its a loco I have wanted for a long time.
Why are you putting so much effort into weird projects such as one off prototypes such as Bulleid and D600 Warships that had short operational life? There are many BR class locos that are not being covered by the market such as Class45/46, Class 24/25, Class 26/27 or even a Class 76. Now that would be worth doing as they were prolific but few have bothered to reproduce.
Great information from the rep , experience only brings knowledge , not just a salesman well done , look forward to the Southern stock
Some great shots. Enjoyed watching. Cheers Paul.

I often thought that too, Hornby missed a trick there.
Are you Jenny Kirk?
lol, nope, not even a relative or in the same country
@ oh, haha 😂 Similar name ;)
Thank you Bachmann for the Bulleid BCKs
wish someone would bring out an updated class 76//77 still good models but an update would be fabulous
Class 74, bet nobody saw that one coming!! I was looking at converting a class 71 into one of this recently, now I don't need to bother! 😎
I bought a Hornby class 71 to do the same conversion too, I may not convert it now either!
Any BR Corporate blue Class 20/25/31/37/40/47/55's etc in 'N'gauge coming down the line by any chance ?
Would be good, especially 47 and 31/4, but N is never a priority

You made exactly the point I have just said. IToo much weird shit being made and a large gap in many BR classes being overlooked.
74 brilliant hope the price is kept sensible 🎉
PLEASE re-release the container flats!!! I have the ends as for some reason there were too many of those! Been waiting a couple of years!!

well 2025 is the 60th anniversary of the start of Freightliner operations....

Is that it for new tooling announcements? I hope not to be honest.
Bachmann have many new tooling announcements that they make every quarter of the year. This is just the first for 2025.
What about Figures?
Una's handrail knob has come adrift!
Turbostar or Voyager.
Dapol are doing a new run of voyagers, Turbostar is hopelessly outdated but I'm not sure there's scope for retooling
I'm talking OO, and no I think Bachmann is working on a Turbostar retool, we just have to be patient.

hoping for electric loco 20.0003 of 1948.
Class 101 please
Fantastic News a 74
£200 plus for one of those I bet.
West country/ battle of Britain spam cans 😊
I gave up guessing after the last let down, what ever it is a bunch of modellers will be happy.
The full spring announcement is on Wednesday, this is just an update and new tooling reveal
Modelers will never be happy
Shit a brick a 74 !!!!
I can't wait for one of them to come out.
That would be a novelty shit! They only ever made 10 in real life and so were not in regular operation.
