Curating intimate chamber concerts is a passionate endeavour of Baithak Foundation. This intimate space is creative and transformative for the artist and the audience providing us all the magical experience of immersing ourselves in a spontaneous creation.

Friends of Baithak have always understood the true value of such experiences and have supported our endeavours of bringing back Indian Classical Music in an intimate setting. This special baithak was curated with the support of Alhad Alsi and Aalok Alsi who lovingly contributed to the entire effort.

Kranti Kanadé, another friend of Baithak happily opened the doors of his cozy home to host the enchanting voice of Shri. Ambarish Das.

Our efforts were fully tested when an hour before the concert our city experienced a cloudburst blocking every road leading to the venue. The gently lit concert space that smelt of wild flowers waited with great anticipation for the safe arrival of artists. Despite the crazy traffic and the resulting annoyance we had a full house that was eager to listen to music.

It was indeed a memorable evening for all!
