HOW TO BUILD BAMBOO RAIN SHELTER

Finally, meron na akong matatawag na sarili kung Bamboo Rain Shelter!
As you guys know, I am connected to Harbest. We, in the company promotes modern agricultural technologies and we assist our clients develop their farm and build up Greenhouses/Nursery.
Ngayon, I have applied what I have learned and experiences from my work. Thanks to my family for continuously supporting me as we build up our own Bamboo Rain Shelter.

The main poles can be supported on 60cm steel star pickets - halfway buried in the ground. The remaining 30cm can be inserted into the hollow end of the bamboo pole.

Learned a lot. I have to build one to use on my patio. I can’t build in my yard due to restrictions. My problem is building the base to hold the bamboo poles. Need to cover my potatoes. Maybe 4.5 ft tall. And 5 ft wide. Any suggestions on how to stabilize the poles as they sit on concrete would be appreciated.

Any ganda ng design. May architect po ba or engineer an gumawa ng design and materials list? How is it now some years after. Anything learnings you can share if we were to make one now.

@@katrinatanchoco6777 Hello there. The bamboo rain shelter was established and designed by me po. Pero I got the idea from the Bamboo Seedling Nursery ng Harbest.
We built it last 2020 pa, unfortunately nasira na ngayon yung plastic. Hindi din kasi na asikaso for a year.

I am planning to make exact same design for my front lawn. I don't plan to use it for plants, but to park my car. Sometimes we have super heavy rainstorm here in Bangkok.
But I would like to ask you about the foundation bamboo post.
- Do I have to pour concrete when bury?
- And how deep should I bury?
- How thick should the post be?
I plan to make size around 4x6 meters.

It is advisable to have this only sa area na hindi dinadaanan ng bagyo. Kaya ang bagyo pagka yung mga bakal na materials ang gamit.
