Thank you for the detailed how-to! I have a cottage 370 feet from the main house, and visiting family and friends would sure like to be connected. I think this pair of devices would fit the bill nicely. I'm looking forward to getting it off my to-do list.
Thanks for the comment. Appreciate it.
Great video! I have two properties and I have been using basically the same set up. I don’t have a router at the other house but I do have a security camera base station cameras are wireless. System have been working fine then suddenly can’t view the cameras. I have a strong connection as per the side lights on the bridge units no image. I thought maybe the home router may be blocking it. What do you think?
Thanks for watching. May I ask if there has been a firmware update on the routers or camera base station at all? The camera base station is connected to the receiver for the bridge, correct? Have you tried to remove the connection and re-establish it - as if you were setting it up for the first time?
Nice video ❤❤
Thank you. Appreciate your comment. It is nice to hear from people watching my videos .
Hi! I have another brand i setup but it was a pain in the butt. I have the transmitter on the house and a receiver in the shop. Works great. The thing I love is the transmitter can also create a second network that beams wifi all over our backyard. So the transmitter essentially serves two purposes. Anyhow, I am wanting to get a more plug and play setup for our our lake cabin property. Do you know if the Adalov has the capability of acting as a wifi extender , in addition to the bridge? ( would set up on the computer interface) - We'd basically like to send a strong wifi signal so anyone out on the dock or on the front deck can get a strong signal in addition to the bridge going from the cabin to the shop there. Thanks for any advice!
Thanks for your comment and question. Upon my setup and testing, I was able to join the WiFi of the unit itself. It had its own name and password as per the manual, but this can be changed for security purposes.
@@thereviewdaduk Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know you were able to join the WiFi of the unit itself. I appreciate it! I just ordered the same setup you recommended. Thanks again for your help. Cheers!
I have about 1000 feet of half wooded forrest to get through, will this work?
Do you have line of sight between point A and B?
@thereviewdaduk no, not really should i just run fiber cable?
@lisas6363 that would cost quite a bit.
@thereviewdaduk more than 1000$? I will have to pay 50/month or 600/year for a separate internet account otherwise.
@thereviewdaduk i see fiber spools for like 300$ 1000 feet, but i need expensive tool to splice the ends? I can dig trench with ditchwitch myself.
