You can use Pitambari cleaning powder; also you use tamarind and salt for cleaning. Will do sister on the video on how to maintain bronze vessels. You can prepare all types of dishes in this vessel; however its better to avoid the tamarind base or tomato base recipes like - puli sadam or tomato chutney or tomato thokku etc., you can prepare dishes of having little tomato or little tamarind; once the preparation is over you can change the dish to another vessel. Ragi roti yummy this too my favourite sista.. This method is complete unique. We add murungakeerai dry red chilli onion n jaggery. So it will be sweet karam n lil salty.. Try this method once sista..
Sister I am using the bronze kadai in this video. Sister hope the below information shall be useful to you: 1. Wash the iron vessels thoroughly; 2. Salt and castor oil - 3 tbps each - roast these in the vessel 3. Wash again 4. Continue the step mentioned in 2 above. 5.Do this for 5-6 times 6. Once the vessel becomes black, you can start using it If you feel the above process is long and difficult, you can think of buying the pre seasoned iron kadais. These are available in Amazon & brand name is Lodge.Also please note the following: 1. Never use any soap or detergent to clean the vessel2. Use only plain water & the brush3. Don't soak in the water for long4. If the vessel is sticky due to usage, heat the water in that iron vessel and clean it with brush.5.
