Just a few insight from an OG In the Game: you can have your injectors cleaned then re installed with new seals or fresh set for $600 just have to weigh out the cost. Definitely spark plus and fresh coil packs. These engines have a know issue with the coolant hoses on the turbo units that burst and leak. Also I suggest putting in a new coolant resivior tank(cheap insurance) their definitely gonna fail due to heavy pressure on the system just way bmw designed units 30psi in system constantly. Trust me when I tell you... your oil change intervals have to be 3-5k mi with these cars don't play. Its how bmw built these motors n63..n63tu2-3 there all designed to fail. Hear me out... Bmw designed these rods incorrectly and did minmal to correct design. Plus its a delicate balance of fuel injection ,oil lurication , and cooling is like symphony with these motors. One or two miss steps you'll through a rod due to detonation with failing injectors, the viscosity of the oil with direct injection ethanol( attracts moisture) if left for a period. Why you get spun rods due to viscosity not being optimum to lube con rod bearings. Also the cam shaft phaser depend on constant oil pressure if you oils muked up it reduce phaser operation cause timing failure (valve and pistons meet). So why I preacher 3k OCI intervals honestly 5k if you loose track. liquid moly special tec oil has the second best lubrication from my research. Motul oil is top. Fcpeuro.com has a life time warranty program so you purchase the liquid Molly kit once and you can get replacement kit on warranty for the life ownership of the vehicle. So yo do your oil change then send the back old oil and filter. You order a new kit they'll reimburse you. One time purchase give free oil changes. So your frequency will be higher but your cost will be crazy low you have to pay shipping 24 bucks. Immediately after oil change bottle old oil and filter and return to fcp. So you re new oil change will be ready for the next 3k sitting in garage. Also the water pump on these cars only last 60-90k mile just in general and you have two one primary an one auxiliary..slowly replace em out cause ...they gonna fail lol Just my two cents Use shell gasoline it has a lubricant in gasoline to treat those injector other gases injector dry needle out causing failure carbon build up. 4oz of lucus injector cleaner ever two or three months to lube injector if you can't do shell. Torque in the tune kills these motors too soooo id tell tuner the lower the torque to preserve the motor. Good luck Bro
