- Recently, I put together a restaurant in my Sims 3 Store World Legacy challenge. I thought I'd give my usual over explaining style of video of how I put it together and everything you need to get it to work.

You can even change the settings to allow active sims to choose meals from the menu, or keep it to act similarly to the TS3 Bistro, whereby their order is random.
I do wonder if they have fixed it so children can also order from the menu yet, if you know?
Wait seriously?! You can change the settings to allow Sims to choose from the menu!? I had no idea!
@@acottonsock From the Documentation Notes of NRaas version of Ani's mod: "Toggle Random Food: (True/False)
A global setting.
If true, a sim will always be served a random meal.
If false, the active sim will be able to choose their meal."
There are also other settings that can be toggled too. 👍

Your game looks so beautiful! I love the colors of the light. Sorry if this has been asked before, but what lighting mod/reshade preset or gshade preset do you use? 🙏
It's a cool mod, but I found throughout the years, it's not worth the hustle of setting it up. It's easier to just put a food synthesizer on a community lot and it will spawn waiters and set an appropriate menu. I'd only use the Business as Usual Bistro for a FANCY restaurant, but for more casual ones, it's the food synthesizer or even the World Adventures food cash register are just easier and better.
For some reason this mod acts up for me. Like i have to go every so often and re-download it because the stove that comes with it keeps disappearing out of the catalog. This has been happening for years.
Seems like you need a lot of Nrass mods to run this, not just the store content mod.Is there a full list?
So what lot type did you choose?
Fun thing about this method is it can be any type of (public) lot you want! Cafe, restaurant, park, as long as you assign waiters and chefs, and put the correct menus and oven, Sims will dine there.

So I thought no at first--but another comment informed me that you can change the settings to allow Sims to choose from the menu! I had no idea!

The EA vanilla is alright, a bit lacking in features and depth like trying to organize a dinner with multiple sims require so much individual clicking for each sim. BUT the worst part is the fricking chef quitting his job every day …
