So this is where all Loreen's fans gathered. I have only seen reactions where people are pissed off because Käärijä didn't win lol.

Loreen gave it her A game that night, 100% vocally, she couldn’t rest on her laurels even though she was one of or [the] favourite. she didn’t take anything for granted, she stretch out each note until she couldn’t stretch it out any more, she knew she had to do her best BEST and it paid off! 🫶🏽

She was amazing. But she wasn't twice as good as everyone else to warrant this jury result. She wasn't three times better than the art piece that Blanca Paloma brought.

@@UnscrambledEggs i beg to differ but thought Alika- Bridges from Estonia, also Norway. Portugal and Greece would if all been worthy winners. i do not understand what the big deal with finland song was, it was a catchy tune but that’s about it,

@@softshallow7435 fact is that the jury didn't give the other deserving artists nearly enough points.

@@UnscrambledEggsThe thing though is that the jury’s have 1-12 points to give to 10 different countries. They don’t compare their points to other jury’s to make sure their 10 favorites ends up where they think they should. If, for example, Italys jury thinks Spain is the 5th best but all other jury’s think they are 11th best, Italy doesn’t suddenly choose to give Spain 12 points to make up for all the other jury’s giving them 0. They’d still give Spain 6 points. This year most of the jury’s thought Sweden was best, but Germanys last place don’t mean they think Germany was the worst. Germany could have been on most of the jury’s 11th place.

@@johananas8407 great point for why jury votes need a reform. if they had to just give points for the 4 criteria to each country (scale from 0-10 or whatnot), someone else could then compile the scores and make the order. A lot more accountability that way and individual jurors can't put more emphasis on some criteria over the others.
And the mathematical likelihood that all juries ranked Germany 11th is when they ended in last place with 3 points is somewhere between minuscule and impossible.
