Other reviewers are taking the movie way too seriously in their criticism. It’s just fun nostalgic bliss. My theater was laughing the whole time. It made me feel warm n fuzzy inside. I miss the 90’s.
It seems like we had a very similar experience with this one. I think this movie plays VERY well for the right crowd, which is exactly who I saw it with. Glad you enjoyed it too. Thanks for watching!
Great minds think alike, it's just a wildly funny movie. I hope you dig Y2K as much as I did, I think it has a lot to offer people that experienced the 90s. Thanks for watching, dude!
Hey thanks so much, looking forward to seeing you around here! Are you gonna be checking this one out this weekend? Let me know what you think if you do!
As alway great review, Sully. I do think there was a lot of nostalgia bait in the beginning BUT once midnight hits it felt more natural for the world/setting they were in. Had a good enough time 👍🏻
I know you've been keeping tabs on this one, so I'm happy to report that it's a good time. Looking forward to what you think of it. Thanks for watching, TJ!
People are allowed to do what they want, but I think we need to get a little better at being able to separate the art from the artist. You'd miss out on a lot of good films if you didn't watch any movie that had someone you don't like in it. Thanks for checking out the video!
Dean, I had no idea you changed your channel name...Was wondering where you were hanging out these days! I think you'll dig this one, definitely feels like a 90s timecapsule. Thanks for watching, dude!
The guy is in the trailer, on the poster, and appeared on Hot Ones to promote the movie...The studio is using his role as a selling point, not a cameo surprise
I think you'll have fun with this one if you still get a kick out of the ridiculous trends we had going on in the 90s. Nothing lifechanging, but definitely a good time in a packed theater. Thanks for watching, Bill!
I grew up in the mid to late 90s and I just saw this one and I loved it. Although it kinda reminds me of This is The End though. But overall I have fun with Y2K. I missed those High School years of mine. 😄😄
Oh the 'This Is the End' similarities are strong with this one for sure, but it made for an enjoyable ride if you have a personal connection to the time period. I definitely started to miss the simpler AIM days after the credits rolled...Thanks for watching!
This movie was bad abut I loved every second of it. It wasnt as funny as it wanted to be but I got it. It was a fun teen horror that took itself as seriously as Fred Durst did. I can see why critics were critical but I think thats totally missing the point. Senator Durst has a nice ring to it too lol
I definitely had more fun with this one than I was expecting, even if it is a dumb comedy that won't appeal to anyone unfamiliar with the time period. Thanks for watching, T!
I think if you lived through the 90s, you should still be able to get something out of this one! Lots of really good callbacks to various trends and technology. Thanks for watching!
I'm a HUGE movie enthusiast/lover especially horror movies, aspiring business owner and actress/thespian. I've already watched 58 movie releases in the movie theater this year including Y2K yesterday night. I'm a '90's baby and millennial so this movie resonated with me. I had a fun time with this movie. This was a good movie review. 🎬🎥🎟️🎞️🍿🥤❤❤❤❤
What's your favorite disaster comedy movie? I have to go with This Is the End...
This with bodies bodies bodies would be awesome

This film plays like a party in the theatre, so much laughter it was infectious.
The crowd I was with absolutely ate it up, making it even more of a blast the entire way through. Glad you liked it too. Thanks for watching!
I love your videos, Sully. Keep up the good work, brotha! When you said the actors weren't even alive for Y2K, it almost blew my mind a bit, lol.
Haha this roster of actors is making me feel old...Thanks for watching!
This Is The End my fav disaster comedy aswell. Great review. Im seeing this friday and was nervous but now im excited!

First video I've seen of yours and you have a new fan! Great review and like your demeanor.👍🏼

Definitely a lot of nostalgia bait, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't work on me...Thanks for watching, Jacob!
Also reminded me of the movie Maximum Overdrive.
I somehow still haven't seen that...
Looking forward to this one! A solid fun 90’s flick is good enough for me. Glad you liked this one!
I know you've been keeping tabs on this one, so I'm happy to report that it's a good time. Looking forward to what you think of it. Thanks for watching, TJ!
Saw so many people on insta who said they aren’t seeing the movie just because of rachel Ziegler? She plays The main charachters crush

Did you? Haters are always loud. They said it about Spellbound too. It was in top10 in multiple countries. That’s the reality.
@@nazimelmardi I saw the movie last night, I thought it was hilarious and fun.
Sounds like a trip down nostalgia lane.
It definitely is, and I am totally the target audience for this. Won't work for everyone, but I had a blast with it. Thanks for watching, dude!
Sweeeeet! Super
Excited for this one!
Dean, I had no idea you changed your channel name...Was wondering where you were hanging out these days! I think you'll dig this one, definitely feels like a 90s timecapsule. Thanks for watching, dude!
@ to be fair it’s like my fourth name change. Hahaha
Finally someone that didn't jump in the hate bandwagon, this movie was a blast & had so much heart
I was surprised to see how many people thought this one was kind of a slog, I had a really good time with it. Thanks for checking out the review!
Great video as always man.
Thanks for watching, JM!
So much for the cameo surprise. 🤦🏼♂️
The guy is in the trailer, on the poster, and appeared on Hot Ones to promote the movie...The studio is using his role as a selling point, not a cameo surprise
I have tickets Thursday at Alamo and looking forward to it for the same reasons you point out. If I remember, I’ll reply after seeing it.

I still want an iPod 😂
Time to start browsing eBay...

The Simpsons Halloween did this.
I can’t relate to the film much. It’s at a suburban setting. If it took place in the hood in a big city, then yeah lol
I think if you lived through the 90s, you should still be able to get something out of this one! Lots of really good callbacks to various trends and technology. Thanks for watching!
Hello? "Chopping Mall" anyone?
Did you get the chance to watch the bad boys films?
Id watch it if Rachel Zegler wasn't in it , her acting sucks, I wouldn't give that entitled brat my money
