They recently changed cultist to also say "with its maximum stats" instead of with enchantments, so I imagine the trinket will also behave like cultist currently does.
@TheMirksta yeah brainfart. I remember utilizing this new change to ruin cultist boards, and also because of this change I was mindful af with enemy running 2 bramblewitches ahahh.

yeah, imagine you also have 2 great trinkets with the other one making the attack also the health super cool. but I also like is that every hero can run this setup, and its not every game.
The way I see it there are 3 ways this could work: 1) Like you said, it doubles your whole board's attack. 2) Each minion will get the difference twice, so with a 20 damage dragon and a 25 damage dragon the first one would get +5 twice. 3) They get set to the highest attack twice, which does nothing different than setting it once.
@@BlazingLemurian What it should do (I think) is set the dragon next to the golden poet to the highest attack, then double the amount of attack that was added to that minion to make it to the highest attack value, and make it permanent. So for example if I have a 20 attack minion, 2x5 attack dragons and a golden poet with one 5 attack not touching the poet, the 5 attack dragon touching the poet will gain 15 to reach 20, and then double that to get 35 attack permanently. The rest of the board will be set to 20 attack that fight, then reset after. Then next combat, if we swap the 5 attack dragon and the new 35 attack dragon's places so that only the 5 is touching the poet and the 35 isn't, attack will be set to 35, the dragon touching the poet will double the difference so ends up at 65 attack, and so on. I think a build that might almost impossible to pull off but has exponential scaling is doing leapfrogger + amalgam + persistent poet + kelthuzad. Thanks for all these videos. It's a good way to learn some different styles of play. Am I right in thinking that the Trinkets are a new mechanic and not a mode? So basically staying around regardless even if a new mode comes in half way through the season?😊
There are some really relevant trinket combos that are worth mentioning. The trinket that doubles the attack isn't too slow if it is permanent, specially due to being 2 units. It's problem is the fact that it isn't actual exponential, because it's the weakest. That being said, there are 2 greater trinkets that should've been brought up that fix that problem: the first is the one that sets health to be the greatest between health and attack, and the second is the one that levels the attack across the board. With the one that levels, it means you get exponential attack scaling for a 7 unit board, provided that you can get permanent buffs to 6. So 2 tarec, 2 poet, and you can even afford a non dragon unit because you're doubling the 2 weakest, and you only need 1 of those to be permanent. With the one that sets health for attack, I believe you should find 2 tarec or 2 poet and just sell everything else. 2 tarec on 6 means they have 40 attack if you do nothing else, but you could easily hold some buffs. And you're going to lose. But if you find the make health = attack on 9, you're not losing to anyone anymore except scam. You can milk the double exponential scaling for a few turns as well until you need more units to survive scam, because no one can beat you in stats anymore
Yeah I agree. It's just an auto pick and hardroll for the tier 5 dragon. It's gonna get changed in some way for sure but we can abuse it while its here
The Brann portrait won't be as strong with murlocs, because Murky is out. But with dragons it might be a new S tier strat, since Kalecgos is still around
