They should make it a set cumulative size of land, like the equivalent of a football field to be covered with wildflowers(for example) and allow you to plant the wildflowers as you see fit as long as youve covered that amount of land
Here in the states. We have a program called crp. It's where basically the government pays the farmer not to plant a field, its usually for a 10 year contract. Halfway through the contract alot of field have to be replanted with wild flowers. Funny thing is the seeds they require usually aren't native to the area.
