I loved the Sure Thing, idk but it’s definitely an underrated 80s film, same with Better Off Dead. John Cusack was so charismatic as a teen (i mean he still is but damn his movies should have gotten bigger hits) and he’s so cute 🥺 love love him
THE SURE THING triggered my love for all things '"movie making". Loved the acting, the story, the comedy, I definitely related to Gib though I was older than he. ... 36 years later I've finally make my first feature film; SURFACE TENSION. It may have not happened without The Sure Thing.
