Can you please provide subtitles in English because there are certain words that is hard to understand like in the example of the burger bar cafe there is a sentence that you mentioned “Although at the burger bar is very busy.... 3 big freezers” the word between busy and 3 big freezer is hard to understand
Really well explained! I would definitely use Kaizen to improve the animation though, its not the best; things appear much before they are spoken, so it kinda makes the video feel a little dragged.
Wouldn't value stream analysis be one of the main concepts also as it is what is used to decide what is considered as waste and what is value before you start the other processes?
+Stephen Barry There are many concepts that spring from lean production and it seems to me the principles of lean have developed over time and also in different ways to meet different purposes. This was just a quick intro to the basic concept of lean primarily for needs of UK A level Business courses, which is the main market for my LearnLoads books.
This lean business culture we are in is the worst thing to ever happen to the consumer - mainly for that aspect of it where businesses think it’s ok and are even encouraged to put products on to the market as quick as possible, and then “let the consumer drive the innovation.” But that’s not happening, is it? Why is it that Best Buy will have twenty or thirty different kinds of ear buds and every last one of them will be crap? Why is almost EVERYTHING we buy today flawed in design, or just built very crappily? Why are there companies who’s customer service lines will put you on hold for two hours? Because the consumer is NOT “driving innovation” as expected by the lean model. They are either ACCEPTING the mind-blowing amount of crap that companies sell us, or not getting through to the companies because they don’t wanna be on hold, or they are complaining to the company’s customer service reps who politeky pass you off, “we’ll certainly pass your concerns on” but they aren’t passed to anyone, and the companies just keep putting out more crap. I suppose that’s where the money is now. You can put products on the market faster and more cheaply, so that consumers time is wasted on a daily basis dealing with the first test run of product til they are pulling their hair out, and then you also make money selling them crap 2.0 and crap 2.1 as well. I suppose its a Godsend for the businesses, so that’s why they are trying to pass this off as being good for the consumer with all the yap yap like Washington State Government’s channel who don’t even let you comment on their videos, so they can praise the lean business model for something it clearly isn’t Naem,y, being good for the consumer. It is HELL for the consumer. Everyday I’m dealin* with someone’s crap whether its an ear bud design by some company at best buy that doesn’t even put their company name on the ear phones, where the hooks that go over your ears are just loosely attached so you lose them or ridiculously overpriced Apple Beats wireless headphones where the rubber on the ear hooks peel off and you get poked by the wire. Or maybe its something like youtube or facebook, who are constantly changing and tweaking their sites without user consent. I come from an age where you could come from a hard day’s work, and if you wanted to watch TV, you didn’t have to worry about the cable company coming into your house while you are gone and changing all the buttons on your remote so you have to figure out to use it every time you got used to the last unwarranted “update.” Businesses should get it right the first time, or not that be in that business. But when it comes to design, there are just standards anymore. Slop it together and throw it out to the consumer as fast as possible to make a quick profit, and “let the consumer drive innovation”, who apparently doesn’t even seem to care how badly we are getting screwed. I hate everything lean business has done to quality standards.
I think it builds on his ideas and others at Toyota years ago. He is not the only person that can claim credit - also Toyoda (correct spelling) father and son.
@@goodboysadyYikes how can an exam board do that for a business studies paper like legit a 4 question paper is supposed to gauge your knowledge of the subject

excellent summary -teacher
Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it!
we learn lean production without "minimising waste"
would it be possible to merge the lean and agile logistics to have a perfect customer satisfaction?
Very helpful. Thank you
Hi, so what would be the answer to the bar problem? The waste would be overproduction and inventory and inefficiency would be motion and waiting?
no, waste is overproduction, inventory, motion and waiting. So inefficiency would be having three fridges
Is ur nose blocked
Maybe it is. Called having a cold.

Thanks
But i'd like to know if these lean production is a concept of taiichi ohno?
I think it builds on his ideas and others at Toyota years ago. He is not the only person that can claim credit - also Toyoda (correct spelling) father and son.
I love lean💜💜💜💜
Complete details to Lean manufactuirng for industrial engineer ,

GREAT
a.INVENTORY
thank you!!
So what's the answer to the two questions in the last part of the video?
I think it would be as follows: Question 1: The overall aim is "Reduce waste" and question 2: "Customer satisfaction"
1: increase value; 2: better quality (customer perspective) and more profit (manufacturer perspective)
Would u plzzz use subtitle in English
