I would know the moment I walked into this place there were birds in residence. I wouldn't be able to breathe. Im soooo allergic. For the sake of my wellbeing, I'd be forced to leave right away.
Birds are nasty. Unless you constantly clean the cage and the floor under and around the cage, it's always a big mess as they toss their seeds out of the cage and onto the floor, plus they smell and have mites.
One thing that's striking me is the episodes I've seen to date all focus on the house itself - ie rather than any location factors. The most I've seen to date re a location factor was the episode where the next door neighbour had a load of junk in his front garden (agreed - that would be offputting) and he obligingly promptly agreed to remove it (one presumes he was telling the truth and genuinely did intend to remove it?). But I guess that's the format of these programmes? - ie going for a quick/cheap win and repainting for instance (straight over any wallpaper that's up there - rather than stripping the walls first) and replacing the worst carpets. Admitted the houses do then look noticeably better/more saleable - but we're not seeing what happens if the location factors are unsolvable (eg very heavily overlooked or a problem retaining wall situation etc) and I've not seen any problem kitchens being dealt with yet.

this English taste in houses is something else......🤮
These are very old episodes!

But they are selling the house, not the pets. They just have to clean and air the area where they have the pets.
Surprised they didn’t fix the broken door edge into the living room.
So glad it wasn;t just me lol
