I love Ian McShane as Winston. Ian McShane has a knack for making all his lines sound like friggin poetry. He did this here in this series, Deadwood, Kings... Everything he says sounds like poetry.
Hes so good in this role. You really feel his power and ability to end pretty much anyone with one word, but also his fairness and respect for John.

The phrase " I'll be seeing you " is a play on what dying warriors would say to the victor during the Greek and Roman glory days. Meaning I'll see you in the afterlife.
I actually liked this one more than the first one. Maybe it's the dog scene in #1. I'd kill anyone who would attempt to harm my animal companions. Just an add on note; We love you two. You've become our favorite reaction channel and I love Asia's laugh! It's a sweet sound of joy.

I think this is the rare part 2 that improves on an already awesome original in every conceivable way akin to The Dark Knight and Terminator 2.
This was actually, loosely, based on truth. Marcus Latrell, of lone survivor fame, had his dog killed by a group of guys. So he tracked them down and held them at gun point until the cops arrived lol imagine killing the dog of Marcus Navy Seal Latrell
After part 3 check out Mr. Nobody with the actor plays Saul Goodman while we all wait for JW4

@@CYB3R2K yes? That's what I'm saying. The action was good. But the narrative fell apart the moment vigo's son died. Logic was thrown out the window, the pacing was attrocious and the payback for building up to the climax was underwhelming.
I've watched this franchise countless times. Sometimes twice in the same weekend. Chapter 3 is called Parabellum which is Latin for Prepare for War. Halle Berry is in it. The world they created in this is amazing. Some background on Reeves when you watch when he's watching the video of his wife, he lost his pregnant fiance in a car accident years ago. He's also one of the most humble and kind people in hollywood. He still rides the subway and interacts with everyone. He donates almost all of his $ to charities. You should look more into him as a person. The 4th Wick is coming out early next year. I highly recommend the 3rd one. This franchise has an incredible soundtrack for each one that sets the mood perfectly. It wouldn't be the same movie without it. Thank you for checking out these movies. I often look up people reacting to these movies ( John Wick 1, 2, and 3 ) and I love seeing their reactions to certain scenes. Like in this one with the quick draw in the Museum and at the end where he kills Santino, I love seeing people react to those moments specifically and you guys did not disappoint

Interesting fact: The reason why in the crowd scenes John only does head shots is to protect the innocent bystanders. The skull will either capture the round or slow it down to less lethal velocity.

This is one of the best cliff hanger endings to a movie that just leaves you wanting more. The phones ringing and music to him running out of the park. Excellent stuff.

Definitely you'll enjoy JW3! For my 60th birthday, I binge-watched all 3 back-to-back-to-back.
The John Wick universe is expanding with JW4 coming out in March, and a spin-off from JW3 called "Ballerina" is in production (you'll understand after watching JW3) and takes place in the timeline between JW3 and JW4. Also being developed to air on the Peacock streaming service is a "prequel" miniseries called "The Continental", which has younger versions of Winston and Charon many years before the JW1-4 timeline.
Taran Tactical has a TH-cam channel where they show a bunch of celebs training and shooting, like Keannu Reeves and Halle Berry (for JW3). Taran Tactical trained Keannu and Halley and designed and built the guns they used in the movies and gave Keannu copies of the guns. Taran Tactical designed the guns in the first movie, but didn't promote it that much. The Glock 34 is a long barrel version of the Glock 17 and the Glock 26 is a shorter version of the Glock 19 for easier concealability, they're all 9mm. The Glock 26 holds 10 rounds (or more with a magazine extension plate it can also use Glock 17/34 magazines), while the Glock 34 uses the same 17 round (or more) magazine as the Glock 17. I've shot a Glock 34 and it made me a LOT better. :) Small guns like the Glock 26, I can only get three fingers on it and my pinky is waving around like I'm drinking tea. :) Taran tricked them out like crazy, as he did the AR-15 and the shotgun. Almost everything John Wick does, Keanu can do in real life, when it comes to shooting and reloading. You can tell that from the Taran Tactical videos. He did most of his own stunts.

Im so glad these movies turned out the way they did and not how action movies usually are (The Expendables/A-Team, etc). These movies go HARD with the intense action but they also have that “charm” to them like few other action flicks usually do

Kind of hard to do when he dies in JW 2. Somehow I dont think he could survive a knife to the heart.
@@zachorryy John left the knife in him specifically so he won't die, if he goes to a medical professional where they can act as soon as possible he'll be fine
@@lylatfox4 but he had a blade to the heart can you actually realistically survive a wound like that? Even if the blade was left in there to "stop" the bleeding, the heart still sustained a lethal blow, even if he was rushed to the hospital immediately. Keep in mind he was in a subway car where the paramedics would need to go up and down several flights of stairs retrieving and delivering cassius to the ambulance. It then drives an unknown amount of distance to the nearest hospital for a surgeon to operate on Cassius. All this time his lethally damaged heart is struggling to pump blood to his body likely leaking some out of the hole made by the knife albeit not as much as compared to if John took the knife out. Statistically the odds are against Cassius and I think that by John leaving the knife in his heart he was giving him a slow death rather than a quick one.

Mr. Reeves is actually properly 3 gun run trained usually handgun shotgun rifle
he is also trained in proper aiming control loading and unloading and has trained in martial arts for this film franchise as well there are vids of him on you tube running the courses might I say very impressive work he does quite efficient technique so the moves with the firearms and fighting is 100% legit but that's what made this franchise so amazing 👍

You’ll find watching these movies you will fall in love with Charon played by Lance Reddick. It’s a wonderful character that is kind of bad ass but you don’t know why, but becomes more so as the movies go along.
