Unfortunately, they always seem to be lipsyncing the chorus on every live performance I find of this song from them. Finding a lot of clips of them lipping the lyrics off-timing, the vocal tone and mic quality instantly changing dramatically, and it goes from a live-sounding (slightly pitchy, audible breaths...etc, which is normal because they're human and it's a fast song) verse, to an instant pitch-perfect chorus that's identical to the studio version.

@@noizusagi6901 and you're sure of what you say?.... i'm hearing different. not only the vocals, but most of the instruments are recorded... the string section is suspiciously exact to the cd.... as a recording engineer i find this hard to reproduce live as exact as it is.... lot of syncing going on.... veronicas are as fake as any act, but they can sing a bit when needed to, same as this video. at least they wore clothes back then.

They sold out the moment they signed to Warner. You think the first album wasn't playing to the crowd? The punk vibe was completely "in". As for how things developed onward, I think they have become more liberated from their label influence. They left Warner over creative direction pursuits if I'm not mistaken. As for how they dress now and so on, can we call that selling out if that's authentically the persona they want to present to the public? If that's an issue, it's those who are "buying in" to it as much as anything.
