I was diagnosed with hashi 15 years ago. Going gluten free for two years made no change to my TPO. I cleaned up my diet really well and eat nutritional foods only. I eat gluten almost every day but will only eat Italian durum wheat. My TPO has dropped from the 700s to the 60s. I never took thyroid meds. I never had EBV either. If I eat garbage American wheat found in almost everything, it's instant heartburn and digestive issues. I think the hybrid GMO wheat sprayed with glyphosate and anything else sprayed with glyphosates is what's destroying the gut lining and causing all of these autoimmune issues.

I have had Hashi motors thyroiditis for the past 35 years. Years ago, nobody knew about gluten sensitivity, so I have only been gluten-free for the past few years. After being hospitalized with Covid pneumonia when it first came out, and nobody knew their ass from their elbow, I believe I have been in adrenal fatigue since then on and off and now I am suffering with the adrenal fatigue again-this time I know what adrenal fatigue is, I was not aware prior.

My thyroid issue is more hyperthyroidism 'Graves disease ' for more than a decade or so and I lost a lot of weight, but very recently, about 4 months ago, it became hypothyroidism 'Hashimoto' and have gained weight. Yes, it is messing up my digestive system.
All of my Hashi's issues started after a trip to rural Peru where I caught god knows what parasite from accidentally ingesting traces of untreated water on my toothbrush. (Violently ill just an hour later, subsided in 24 hrs, never treated.) And then doing a wilderness survival course in backcountry Utah 18 months later, where their water treatment method was insufficient. I do know I had a silent case of Giardia for nearly a decade before it was found in a stool test by a naturopath. But I was always for other parasites, so the Peru thing is forever a mystery. But the decade after those incidents came with increasing health issues until I started making thyroid antobodies. To this day, even the naturpath I went to, and the regular MDs rolled their eyes at my parasite suspicions in regards to my leaky gut. Also, my mom had EBV and I probably do too. Lastly, I was regulating my antobodies via an anti-inflammatory diet just fine, but the stress of losing my mom and living in a moldy apartment pushed me over the edge after 2019, and I now have 4 nodules and likely a higher antibody count.

Thanks so much for this information and explanation! Ive had Hashimotos since my 2nd pregnancy in the first trimester I also got sick pretty badly. It took about a year for doctors to diagnose because my TSH labs were coming back normal yet I had a goiter the size of texas! That was 25 years ago. My question is related to my adult daughter who at the onset of her pregnancy developed Graves disease which is the opposite of Hashimotos. Do all of the things you explained also cause Graves or is it something different? Since then i have developed Vitiligo, Raynauds, of course arthrithis since probably birth. Discovered that i had a small goiter at 25 yrs old before i had kids Synthroid for years. Wow this was the first time i really understood what i have! Okay re the supplements you recommend is there something I can take which has majority of what I need
Thank you 🙏
Also Ive heard that taking vitamins can worsen Hashimotos because when boosting the immune system it ramps up the attack on the thyroid. Would you have any information on this?
Thanks for all your great info.
I’m hoping you can do an episode on aps type 2.
I’ve been diagnosed w Hashi for 10 yrs and recently Addisons.
Thank you♥️

So my ferritin is high, 418, how does this relate to hashimotos and hypothyroidism?
Do you drink ? My husband has high he gives blood that brings it down.
I need info on Hashi's in kids
Thank you Doctor for the very helpful information. I have a better understanding of what Hashi is. So the triggeri Is the gut and immune system. The necessary supplements are of great interest. I'm watching your video from Tirana, Albania. Much obliged.

Kambuchs. Saukerraut
I was tested and was slightly low in my T4 production but my T3 conversion was good. Anything necessary in this situation?
I have hyper thyroidism and type two diabetes. I got sweats night and day. My calcium is high. My lymphocytes and white blood cells are high for the past year now. I feel exhausted. A lot of the time I’m 63 years old and some days am unable to complete much of anything. Can you suggest anything? My doctor says my thyroid numbers are fine in my blood work. I’ve lost weight feel anxious all the time I’ve gone to some natural remedies without much luck.
Any ideas for an iodine supplement/treatment? How much? How often?
Try Standard Process trace minerals. If you have a chiropractor he or she may sell.
I use drops.

Is it No Gluten forever? Is it possible to heal your gut , then gluten is ok?
yeah it's forever as gluten is a trigger. You cannot heal from hashimoto's; you can only stay into remission.
Forever, trust me. Same with dairy! Dairy kills the thyroid! Carnivore diet and high fat is key diet
@ is it possible that your thyroid gets totally destroyed in time?
@ I believe so, the longer someone waits to take action, the worst the symptoms are. I got diagnosed at 55 and had mononucleosis at 22 which is one of the triggers
Which bacteria are responsible for converting T4 to T3? Asking so one could make sure to watch for those strains in a probiotic. Too many probiotics out there and difficult to discern which the right one for a hashi patient. Thanks so much for the information.
Look for veilonella and nissle ecoli. Tread very very carefully though. Microbiome is multifaceted and tipping the scales on one area can tip them in another somewhere else = new problem. V nella is name of veilonella atypica now available. Nissle is also available as mutaflor. Come back and post if you try!
PLZ 🙏 PLZ HELP THEY TOOK MY THYROID 25 YRS AGO &I BN SO BAD FOR YRS. 😢ITS EVEN WORSE NOW !HAD A HISTORICOTOMY I NEED HELP PLZZZ

I was diagnosed with Lupus but did all test dif all the blood test ultra sound now they think is parathyroid 😢
If I used salt very sparingly since 1987, could mayb3 that decrease in Iodine cause that buildup over years in creating Hashimotos
My husband stupidly went through a no salt diet saying that salt was evil. Then I ended up with a goiter 🤦
If I have lymphodema, and now problems with kidneys, does the leaky gut just makes it worse for the body to eliminate through lymph n kidneys
I was watching carivore diet l lady tried .. helped also she mentioned about fat intake ... look up zero carb lifestyle utube
What are the testing and ranges should be?
Go look for a video called ‘ten reasons your thyroid is in trouble’ by Dr sten. He shows a chart of where your thyroid should be

I take 1.5 mcg of levothyroxine . Could a rash or bites on mostly upper body be caused by that?

Ok Thankyou this is the best explanation I’ve heard about hashi and I’m a nurse shame the medical profession doesn’t address the actual course instead of just promoting big pharma !!!
I have Hoshi & take levothyroxine, been on same dose for past 10 years. My labs (TSH) ok. Still, my sleep is no better. Eyebrows are gone. Hx of pcos.
What about when you have no gland
