Nice that Hornby has included this horn tune on it`s hm7000 sound chip ( i think it`s on the class 66 sound profile) play it all day long on the layout 🤣🤣👍👍
I see most of the these clips are at Retford and/or the Eaton Ln & Causeway Ln LCs. I recently did an hour or so of spotting at the Eaton Ln LC and it was great. Definitely some top tier ECML spotting locations.
Yes, has been my go too for many years. Dropped off a bit now but that’s a sign of the times. As far as local spotting goes it’s still up there with the best!
I liked them, but they were often inaudible. In hindsight I’m very glad I filmed a lot of them in the early days, as now the horns are different and the pans are no longer used at the front unless 10 car formed
