I assisted the campaign for my Representative Angie Craig, and she just came out against Biden. Yard signs, calls, get out the vote. I met her at a campaign stop while Al Franken was helping her win her seat in the House. She is in a narrow re-election bid so now, what, she is panicking?

I submitted comments to Mark Warner, Sheldon Whitehouse, Chris Murphy, Elizabeth Warren, Peter Welch, Chuck Schumer, Amy Klobuchar, etc. If you can't do Senators, then I suspect they must be getting a lot of comments which maybe good. All I can say is try again. We must try to keep them from doing something stupid!

But that's ALWAYS been America's problem. The insane obsession with personality over policies. The fascination with style over substance. The fixation on LEADERSHIP and not WHERE you're being led. That is an open invitation to personality cults and FASCISM.
And Kudos to the journalist Jen R for calling out journalism for not doing their job, giving us the news, instead telling us right after Joe Biden's poor debate performance that he had to step down. Well who the hell told them they were the ones to tell the leader of the Democrats' campaign to go four months before an existentially important election? And by the way, remain silent about Trump's candidacy in the days after he was convicted for 34 FELONIES. Other than predict (which they love to do) that it really wouldn't have much of an impact on his candidacy. Thanks for messaging to the public that we now have one of the two serious candidates for the presidency who's a convicted felon, but it's not going to be that big a deal. That's outrageous!

Re the "Debate:"
What I saw was NOT a debate, nor could it have been with only one participant, in this case, Joe Biden. The other guy was NOT there to debate.
Some are saying Biden's "performance" was bad. Perhaps that's because he's not a performer, nor should he be. He's a caring, dedicated representative of & for the people of this country.
Biden's responses & facial expressions were appropriate for the situation. He was not responding to a debater because there was none there.
The moderators should have stopped the debacle as soon as it became evident that the other party was not there to debate.
Furthermore, that kind of opponent did not/does not deserve any response whatsoever and should have been escorted out of view the moment he showed his intent of only ranting & raving.
I'm for President Biden.
And one person in the room never shut up after their two minutes! With the mike off the only people who could hear Trump were the moderators and Biden. I truly think Biden is so polite he wasn't sure if he could talk over Trump and he wouldn't know whether HIS mike was picking up Trump's ranting. No wonder he looked confused. Fire hose spewing nonscense to his immediate right (and looking at the stage Trump, I think, was to the left to us). CNN set up Biden because see comment above. Who pays for and owns CNN?

Exactly! Trump answered none of the questions. He already knew the "issues" he was going to rant about, which he's used hundreds of times! Biden was trying to correct Trump's lies and elaborate on his record using facts, policy, numbers, people, countries, dates, etc, all with a bad cold/sore throat, a tendency to stutter, and a time constraint.
It's an extreme derelict of the mainstream media which I don't watch anymore. I actually used to respect some of MSNBC but not anymore. Thank you for speaking the truth which I prefer. We have a Democracy to save and that is our American duty.

OLD is GOOD. Only survivors get old. We don't need a president who can scurry around like a 15-year-old; we need a president who's experienced and uses his experience and wisdom for the good of all, even and ESPECIALLY those of us who aren't wealthy.

Literally no one is saying his age is the problem. It's the condition of his brain and body that people are rightly concerned with. If we care about age so much, why are we voting for Trump who is only 3 years younger? It doesn't make sense, enough with the straw arguments. My concern is voting to keep my democracy. That is the most important issue. I am angry with the few democratic senator's who have decided the person who has done a great job since becoming president should drop out of the race. If their sports team had a bad game they wouldn't leave their team instead they would keep supporting the team. With our democracy on the line it seems we should all be fighting to keep our democracy.

MSM has been trying to get Biden since the 2020 nomination. I’ve been reading a utube and FB comment threads since the debate. Folks like me who listen to y’all have Biden’s back. Among Dem commenters there is a clear understanding that this election is not about two old men, two political parties, or competing policies, but about the USConstitution v Project 2025. As for me I’ll vote for Biden as long as he is the top of my ballot.

I'd vote for a ham sandwich over trump. I'm tiring of these "focus groups" with undecided voters. If they don't know trump by now, if they don't understand the STAKES by now, they never will.
