Why didn't she choose one of the better known people?" After listening to that speech, the answer is obvious. He is a man of the people who knows how to speak to the people. He is gracious, humble and effective. This team gives me hope for the USA ... and the world.

This has to be one of the best political speech ever in world history. It combines integrity, honesty, comittment, kindness, inspiration, positivity, joy, and hope. And he can casually attacks the opponent with class, and humor. He reaches almost legendary level of respect by other people after this speech.
Harris laughs and Tim smiles. What a great combination. Such a delight to have real humans at the helms. The journey is never always going to be smooth, but to have leaders with a sense of humour, who laugh and smile sometimes, can help lift the spirit.
I was doubtful about Walz because I knew nothing about him but after this speech, we have so much in common. Man this guy is awesome. I didn't know much about him before this but you can't help but smile and feel hopeful when he speaks. I think a lot of the cure to hardship, war, poverty, and hate is education and having someone who respects teachers and lived that life could be really helpful for our country.
