My Great Grandpa would take me to Kewpee downtown as a kid. He told me once that his father took him there as a child. If my parents took me we always went out to the one by Memorial. (Added) Wendy's tastes like Kewpee. Kewpee is about twice as old at this point in time.
That place looks so cool. Burger 🍔 looked good, and that chocolate malt looked amazing. They really filled that cup up, looked like a good size for a small.
I'm from Lima, moved to Fl about 35 years ago to get away from the snow and man do I miss Kewpie! They had the best pecan and chocolate pies. Phyllis Diller was born in Lima and I remember people saying one of the first places she went was Kewpie. Wendy's are good but they can't touch Kewpie's.
Next time you got to try Lee’s chicken. Once it eat this chicken you won’t ever want anymore KFC chicken again. KFC is nasty. Kewpee malts are these best! You will have to try their frozen yogurt nest time you go or if you go again. The vanilla frozen yogurt taste just like frozen ice cream.
