I've been looking for a small duffel for weekend trips. Maybe this is the one!

What's the size of that water bottle you had in the exterior bottle pocket? It looks like you could fit something huuuuge, perfect for the gym!

Would you say it's safe to carry a laptop in this, without a sleeve?

Could the luggage strap on the back double as a yoga mat strap?

Hey Von! That would likely be awkward to carry since the yoga mat would have to go in vertically. There also isn't a way to cinch it down, so it could fall out. Thanks for watching!

I would have liked this review to have started with a short overview of the bag, specifying the volume, main features and price, and possibly demonstrating how the bag is used and opening the different compartments without going into any details.
That would make it far more useful since I can quickly determine whether it fulfills my basic requirements before getting into the material choice, what colour it is, the feel of one snap button and other things that are irrelevant until I know whether the bag can be used for.
Now I have to forward to 4:45 and tried to determine the operability and volume, and then think about whether it's useful to rewind and watch the first half of the video.

Because of pricing changes, Packhacker tends not to report on price directly. Packhacker in general has a style guide for their reviews -- materials, external components, harness, internal organization, with their own personal use case and throughout the way. I'm guessing they've chosen that approach because they think as an organization that it best represents a way to review a bag.
For more material specifics straight away, the website has a little box indicating weight, size, stated literage, and laptop size, if you're really curious. That might save you some time over watching a video, since it can be gathered in just a few seconds!
