The 2.0 version make me feel like it is the combination of robot damashii or RD for shot and the inner frame of strike freedom. If you can do a compare between this one and the upcoming Metal RD, please do it, i really want to see am i right or not. The review is solid like usually, keep up the good work. :)
Thanks for the compliment, I don't usually buy metal RD since their quality are not that great but almost the same price as metal build. I'll see if I can still find one.
Details, joints ,and paintings are far superior to the original. But I feel that the old one is more Freedomism. Just my personal thought lol. Don't know why. If they could use the old design with improved everything above, it would be interesting.
I think concept 2 does alot right but I also can't help but feel like he's way too thin, especially in the waist area. Almost like it was stretched vertically in photoshop or something.
Apology for the late reply, youtube studio app notification fails me sometime. I understand what you mean, although in reality they are that much difference in size, maybe is because the torso on the old one is thinner and the concept torso is aligned with the waist more.
Um this is out context but I think u should pose these beast much better. Don't take this as an offensive, but l love when a model kit been posed beautifully. It hurt my eyes when u pose the arm in a straight line.and at 5:34, the position of the leg really broke my heart. Edit: great review tho.
At 5:55 I showed them the original and concept 2 afterwards since the wings was too big to fit them in one screen. You will noticed that the original one does move as well but barely noticable unlike the concept 2 is far more.

比較画像や動画が少ない理由は多分両方持っている人がほとんど居ませんかもしれない、特に初代のフリーダム。
それに両方持っても、わざわざ動画を作る人はそれ以上少ないかもしれません。

@@nayrooo6546 僕は香港で住んでいます。日本の玩具は予約値段は日本よりやや高い、特にメタルビルドのような人気商品は転売屋のせいで値段がかなり上がる場合もあります。
それに何故か香港ではメタルビルドの通販商品が魂ウェブ限定より結構手に入れづらいので、値段ももちろん高くなります。
例えばメタルビルドのエヴァ初号機の値段はEVA2020版でるまで大体30~33万円くらいでした。

The Concept 2 is pretty much stylized similarly to the MG Freedom 2.0 which IMO is one of their best.

Agree, the original does gives off the anime feel to it much more than concept 2.

I still prefer the new version of Metal Build Freedom Gundam and it’s wings of both sides each has moving flap gimmicks.
The wing does look better especially the little wing piece moves much more than the original.

Great comparison! I just feel the original v1 more accurate to the anime than the 2.0.
Thanks! That's what I think as well, but then again the anime lacks a lot of details so to me the concept 2 is a reimagination with details of it.

Nope, so far none of the metal build has the ability to open the cockpit.
