I'd recently looked up paris hilton's age after seeing her on hot ones. And yes, she's 40. I don't blame you for not knowing that though. surprised me.
I could not stop laughing during the first round. I was so certain James was gonna be the first to guess his because he got so close. But they were right; he has way too much pop culture knowledge to sift through that this stuff is actually harder for him.
I for one think Graessle should become a more regular addition to the podcast going forward. He is an excellent straight man to our favorite horror nerds, and plus he lives above the garage, so scheduling probably won't be too hard.
I love that having the names you got as captions underneath you makes y’all look like your reality show members in the confessional. That plus the costumes really puts this over the top. Enjoy the break Chelsea!
My favorite was when Chelsea laughed that James said "the cycling is good." I did a double-take that he hadn't looked at his card and snorted at the coincidence. Then she said "yeah, * cycling * is good." and I laughed harder.
Enjoyed this episode so much on my walk. Since I discovered "Dead Meat" last year it's become one of my favorite channels. As much as I LOVE the "Kill Counts", my favorite content on the channel is the podcast, especially the movie reviews! I've watched/listened to them all repeatedly, to the point I'm starting to remember dialogue 😂 Enjoy your break Chelsea!!

Doctor Sleep is HARDLY a "hardcore horror" fan only movie, thats what threw James off. Everyone knows the Shining and at least half those people watched Dr. Sleep.
I found it very interesting how James could not figure out he was Rose the Hat. A movie from 2016 and on where the woman is the killer, is killed, you loved the movie, and it was covered on the Kill Count. Come on James 😂😂😂

A little bit of hindsight about Momo, in case you only kind of knew the face like I did: Momo isn't a drawing or 3D render, the character was based on a real statue called Mother Bird depicting a Japanese yokai, the Ubume. This creature is a ghost created from the anxiety of a mother who died in childbirth, and among its variations hold a common thread of seeking safety and security for her child (whether it survived or not). The characters used to spell its name imply the name of a bird; some theorize a potential relationship to a similarly named, yet separate "child-snatching bird" yokai. Mother Bird did, in fact, have bird feet and a modified bird-like body adorned with the human head and distorted face meant to resemble a beak. I'm a non-hardcore horror fan and I can safely say that "The sequel to the Shining" plus Ewan plus Rebecca is an easy sell for moviegoers
