Buddleia is known as the butterfly bush much longer flowers, the bush in the garden centre is a ceanothus. Try a feeding bowl to stop the dogs bolting their food, they are like a maze and they have to work to get their food, much better for them than loading their guts too quickly.
Love both your guys channels. You both show the greatest attitude and love towards your 3 animals. All 3 a joy to watch in this video running about the garden. You can pick any of your herbs and dry them. You can also chop fresh and put in ice cube trays fill with herb/garlic with liquid (water or broth) freeze
Pop out and store in freezer bag. Use as desired.
Do can do single herb or blends
Your choice: just mark your bags as to what it is.
You can also flavor vinegars
and oils with herbs too.
Easy to do.
Makes great presents too.

I love what you are doing here. That was a really good idea someone had about excavating the ground by the stairs to the basement and opening that right out. That would be amazing.
I noticed a good pile of wood ash in the firepit. That's potash which is really good on the garden and helps the flowers.
Buddleia attract butterflies. Those were ceanothus and are gorgeous aren’t they. Your trees are looking so much better without the ivy especially with the wild flowers. Your whole garden is looking amazing.

I wish I could plant wisteria here in Brazil! Because of the weather it either gets huge and out of control or it dies because it's too hot. Either way it's a beautiful plant.
Olá Roana! Did you research about it? I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and there actually is wisteria here, so I imagine there must be some places in Brasil where it can also grow alright, we have similar weather condition in some areas (like Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo are both hot and humid)
@@aldimanzoni6872 Sí, mí hermana vive en São Paulo, y ella tiene Wisteria (no sé la palabra en español, perdón), pero dónde vivo no es posible. Donde vivo, el verán es muy caliente, mucho más que São Paulo, como quase 40°C. Además solo llove en el verano. El invierno no es tan caliente, como 15°C a 20°C, pero no llove nada. Wisteria es muy hermoso.

We have wisteria in Campos do Jordão, Brazil. After they flower, we give them a good prunning.

Just cut stem doesn't really matter where. But only the outer leaves leave the ones in middle so it can keep growing

You should of brought the fig tree, nice sunny spot. And you won’t be disappointed. I had one it was beautiful, and I couldn’t cope with the amount of fruit. Every year. Takes a couple of years to get going. Imagine all that fig jam ! 👍

Know how you love your spinach, Ali. 😁 Cut at the base of the spinach, but above the soil. And it can regrow this way.

I would cut leaf by leaf to avoid killing any slugs or caterpillars. But Spinach can be harvested leaf-by-leaf, or the entire plant can be cut leaving the growing point intact.

You may find your wisteria will have a second flush of flowers but it won't be as prolific as the first. 😉

There are actually bowls that can help slow down fast eating for dogs. Amazon has several selections. Good luck.
Get yourself some slender pruning clippers to cut your spinach. I tend to cut the spinach by each leaf. Do you have a compost bin on the property. Your mint is doing great. Fresh mint in water and ice is my favorite.
About the spinach, I always collect both the leaf and the stem. I don't want to waste the vegetable his energy on the leftover stem plus I love to eat the stem. I don't know if that is how it is supposed to be tho...
