I am a massive Midlake fan, going to see them at the 400 capacity Tabernacle next week in London can't wait. New stuff sounds as brilliant as ever. Apologies for the inevitable lyrical mistakes below but maybe someone can correct them !?! Just thought I'd attempt, as some people on here are wondering what the lyrics are.... here's a start!

Great! Artists like Midlake are willing to take time to realize a direction/ vibe (it took them a year of playing everyday before they had made any progress and then another before it was finishedholed up for 2 year diligently working on something they were unsure any one would care about). They are great and so unique, every song is different but you still know it's Midlake right away.
This isn't the type of music I usually listen to, but I can't stop coming back to this stuff.
