I love resident alien and this song
Listened to this religiously a few years back. In the kitchen while my sister is watching the Alan Tudyk alien show and think, man this rhythm sure is familiar. Such a good song.
Didnt realise it's an actual song. Luckily i went to search further.
Ah, sailors who fix things have a wonderful well of song - sorry to lose David Lamb so young. MorganEve is now The Huntress and Holder of Hands, if you want to follow her journey. Still in song.
I've been aware of this song for a while, thanks to pandora. But I'm glad Resident Alien exposed so many others to it. :D
Hello Resident alien 👽
For Resident Alien I came here and for the song I will STAY
It kills me that I can't make up a song half as good as this in my whole life
❤️ HARRY ❤️👽
This moves me so deeply - just learning about this band and the sad loss of David Lamb. Such a great treasure, this music - I'm now hooked on this sound forever.
What genre is this considered? Country doesn't feel right.
Does an alien live here? 👽🛸👾
🖖🏻
From the Resident Alien came I. 😎
Who's here because of resident alien?
Indeed
this is my favorite song to listen to while im a doctor in colorado whos secretly an alien
I feel like I need bourbon and a cigarette 😮💨😮💨😮💨
❤️
Resident Alien brought me here
Same here my man v:
I want to know the name of the artist who did that painting.
The great William Schaff
@@Duffman20007 Thank you! I didn’t actually expect a response.
Good music brought me here.
Imagine being a top artist ...almost a decade later. Holy hell.
Reminds me of Hyacinth House, by the Doors. Specially the part "what you gonna do, I don't know my friend" with "and I'll say it again, I need a brand new friend".
Try listening to this at .75 playback speed.
Definitely not here because of Resident Alien 😶🌫️
I'm so thankful this song exists
Holy jeez, it took me 11 years to find your music!? Where have you been my whole life!? Well, 10 years to be sure. I hear the same syncopation Tool employed. Mixed with a little scream of the butterfly. I'm very impressed. I like it too much! This should be top 100 billboard. I found you from a dark country compilation video. This is a genre I can really sink my teeth into. Great for working on a car. Hey, thanks for leaving the comments on. It pisses me off when an artist say, I don't care what you have to say. Good or bad keep your opinions to yourself.
Totally agree. Its a shame he's passed away and there music isn't on the radio. Everything they did was perfect
Awwwww luvly... Thanx for posting

gods, i love this. beautiful.
Lyrics: 👌 It don't matter if the cold wind blows I'm gonna wind up working in the thick of it Sunshine through the rain and snow There's an oily brine bilge water baptism waiting below That's just the waves slamming against the topsides' sound Don't let the ever rolling motion go and get you down Don't let it shake your steady thread cutting hand Keep stealing ribbons from the steel and giving hell To every halyard you can In spite of all the wherewithal To fight it all I will face it all In spite of all the wherewithal To fight it all I'll embrace it all When everyday's like a war between the will to go on And a wish that the world would spiral into the sun Turn your head toward the storm that's surely coming along If the sun was always shining and our load always light We'd be shaking like a leaf with every God given night And we'd break under the weight of any pressure That was ever applied Will you be ready when the straw boss calls? He's got an ever loving bone to pick with one and all Don't let his condescension get you down Just have the strength to know you're wrong And when you're right the strength to stand your ground In spite of all the wherewithal To fight it all I will face it all In spite of all the wherewithal To fight it all I'll embrace it all When everyday is like a war You find no strength from your usual source There's no peace, there's no rest Your fortitude is feeling put to the test When everyday is like a war between the will to go on And a wish that the world would spiral into the sun Turn your head toward the storm that's surely coming along If the sun was always shining and our load always light We'd be shaking like a leaf with every God given night And we'd break under the weight Of any pain that ever came in this life
The Unforgiven II
This song never made my news feed years ago but I'm glad I found it.
Just an amazing song

I'm still sad I never got to meet you. May you Rest In Peace, Dan.
I adore this song, its just so sweet. i know it came out 12 years ago, but it feels so relevent and just overall a good song.
レジデントエイリアンで聞いて調べてたどり着いた( v^-゜)♪ カッコいい~ cool( >ε<)☆
Do you watch it with it speaking English to you and subtitles in your language, or do you hear your language?
I am a white man.
The first time we saw Brown Bird was at Fete when they opened for DM3. Dave opened sitting in a chair, and played this song alone. The place was silent - then the place erupted at the finish. Its one of the experiences you never forget
Resident Alien
Hm, being a boat mechanic. I find great meaning in this.
YT has been recommending me music w/very few views lately (I think for w.e. reason they test their low view recs with users like me) and there was an upload from this band with like 9 views, which absolutely amazed me given the quality. Really lucky that YT recommended me this band because I definitely would have never found this music. Super sad to learn that one of the composers has passed, definitely seems like it was before his time.
Song smells of smoking gun barrels, cigars, and whiskey
I was so excited and happy to hear this song on resident alien. I've loved brown bird forever, MorganEve Swain and her husband are brilliant. Dave's passing was such a loss. Sending love to Brown Bird.
Looked this up because of the show Resident Alien. Sad about the singer/songwriter. Love this song.
