Are you running the games at low resolution to reduce the fan noise ?
No the games between high to ultra high setting but the fan was on auto mode.
Would you recommend to buy for gaming?
I would. All the games played in this video were played on either high or ultra settings and they were quite smooth
How good was the monitor? The 144hz monitor is of low quality on the lower spec models. Is this monitor much better?
This was 165Hz and was quite good. I wouldn't say it was bad.

Also, its single channel ram so upgrading it with another stick of 16 gb ram or applying 8x2 stick of ram, it will perform even better than acer predator helios rtx 4060 laptop.
@COCBlitz RTX 4060 Is very much simped by Nvidia. It does have feelngood features like frame generation, but it's not wodely implemented and more so, its just artificial frames being placed in between the gaps to create a fiction of more fps. There is a very high possibility that FG might never take to the skys with game developers as it may interfere with the workflow.
On the ither hand RTX 3070 Ti is a beast of a card in pure rasterization. Along with DLSS, it is very much the sweet spot for price vs performance.
However, if you can get the RX600M from Asus Strix g15 advantage edition, then get that when compared with either RTX 3070 Ti or RTX 4060.
If RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 4060 are the only options, then go for the RTX 3070 Ti. RTX 4060 should have actually been 4050 and RTX 4060 Ti should be the correct RTX 4060. But Nvidia being the greedy ass, they've made this move this year.

@@5131992patrick 4060 draws less power, its more future proof too. Fake frames r shown in nvidia channel or nvidia fps monitor. I tried both rtx 3070 ti and 4060 and 3070 ti performed better in raw, 4060 performed better in dlss. Also it draws less power so ur electricity bill won't make u poor lol. Nvidia not only simped 4060, it did to all 40 series. They r focusing on dlss and ai more than improving their cards. Nowadays every company r greedy as hell. Nvidia is one of them and they truly suck nowadays

It is a good laptop. I also tested their predator Helios 300. It was more powerful. You can check the video on my channel.
If it's actually 1100 dollars, then I say go for it. I, myself bought it for 2100 dollars.

@@beowolfGaming idk about spec wise but the helios predator is a premium model which has better build quality but expensive than the nitro series.
I bought nitro 5 series for $1100 i7 12gen, 8x2 gb ram, 3070ti, 1tb ssd, 15.6" 165hz QHD . I must say it's the best laptop for this lower price range. In nitro series, every single buck you pay is for the performance but with lower build quality. The battery backup is not good. I limited the charge to 80% and use it plugged in. You should take care while opening the screen because the hinge will break in excessive force.
I would recommend you to buy an external keyboard, mouse and a cooling pad which is actually quiet on higher rpm.
I didn't try out connecting with an external monitor. But many yt reviewers said you will get a better performance if you connect with a monitor. If you want to buy this, you can go for it.

Planning to buy this laptop for 1100$ with the same specs of this to my friend. Should i buy this? Is this worth it?
honestly getting a 3070ti with a 2K screen with the required CPU to take advantage of the GPU on offer that is a fantastic price. I think the only worry I have is the hinges, they seem to be unreliable for the long term. But given that I do like everything else, the design is overall a let down as well; the large chin is off putting. I would also dislike the sound of those fans as them seem real loud. But for the price and given that it is a laptop there the shortcomings and the trad offs are worth it.
