I recently rewatched TPM and it was pretty awesome. Nostalgia for sure but seeing how studios are so afraid of doing anything new, TPM was fucking revolutionary and instantly iconic.

The music of the prequels was very good. The only bad thing about them was George Lucas' scripting, Jar-Jar Binks, and too much CGI. (Although, CGI Yoda was very good.) It's annoying that people hate the prequels: They did their job. They were supposed to SET UP the Original Trilogy... how did they NOT do that job? Episode 1: You meet young Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, R2D2, C3P0, and have the stage set for Darth Sidious to begin to take control by becoming Chancellor. The nature of the force, where it comes from: Midichlorians is revealed, Anakin's story is flesh out a little bit and we have the stage set for Obi Wan Kenobi to take the reigns of training Anakin: the Jedi didn't want to train him, but Qui Gon did, so out of love for his old master who died, Obiwan trains him. Darth Maul sets up the Sith as a serious force to be reckoned with and provides a villian to be defeated but more importantly, someone to kill Quigon and a reason for his departure. Darth Maul provides character growth and a challenge for Obi Wan in the form of overcoming a powerful sith force user, as well as having to take over where Quigon left off and become a teacher himself, when he was just a padawan, Obiwan is not truly prepared for the task, and struggles to train Anakin's impulsiveness. Episode II: Introduced the clones and created the very army that the Republic would use, which would become the army of the Empire and provide Sidious the forces he would need to kill the Jedi order. Sets up an opponent and foil for Anakin in the form of Count Dooku: an experienced force user that bests him, humiliates him, and wounds him and proves that he's just a brat that is too arrogant to be a skilled Jedi, and is proof that he has a lot to learn, halting his rise in the ranks of the Jedi making Anakin's anger at both the Jedi for not recognizing his talent, and Dooku, a outlet for that anger in the form of killing him (something Jedi aren't supposed to do), beginning his path down the darkside. It also allows the relationship for Anakin and Padme to grow, which sets up the eventual birth of Luke and Leia, which could not have happened in Episode 1, since he was a kid and they just met, and allows the exploration of that relationship which gave the viewers time to learn and watch Anakin and Padme get closer together, threading the story closer together overall. It also gives the Jedi a reason to have been slaughtered later on, since they'd have to be forced into leading the clone army, and thus be vulnerable to Sidious' use of the programming since it'd make no sense for one Sith and apprentice to kill hundreds and hundreds of Jedi, the Jedi are at the height of their power and it only makes sense to introduce the clones for this purpose. Episode III shows the desperation of Anakin and the seduction of Palpatine to complete Anakin's downfall to the darkside, the Jedi are destroyed largely, leaving the only two Jedi Yoda and Obiwan around, setting up for a New Hope. The empire rises with nothing to stand in its wake, and Anakin becomes Darth vader. I mean the details might be bad maybe? But there's nothing wrong with how the prequels set up the stage. You can disagree with HOW the execution went with the dialogue, but the Prequels make total sense and accomplish the goal of setting up the OT.

The music of the prequels was very good. The only bad thing about them was George Lucas' scripting, Jar-Jar Binks, and too much CGI. (Although, CGI Yoda was very good.) Every one likes to just hate on the prequels just because everyone else is doing it. They did a lot right, explaining the story of Anakin. Although, I wouldn't have put in that whole "I don't like sand" thing.

It's annoying that people hate the prequels: They did their job. They were supposed to SET UP the Original Trilogy... how did they NOT do that job?
Episode 1: You meet young Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Padme Amidala, R2D2, C3P0, and have the stage set for Darth Sidious to begin to take control by becoming Chancellor.
The nature of the force, where it comes from: Midichlorians is revealed, Anakin's story is flesh out a little bit and we have the stage set for Obi Wan Kenobi to take the reigns of training Anakin: the Jedi didn't want to train him, but Qui Gon did, so out of love for his old master who died, Obiwan trains him.
Darth Maul sets up the Sith as a serious force to be reckoned with and provides a villian to be defeated but more importantly, someone to kill Quigon and a reason for his departure. Darth Maul provides character growth and a challenge for Obi Wan in the form of overcoming a powerful sith force user, as well as having to take over where Quigon left off and become a teacher himself, when he was just a padawan, Obiwan is not truly prepared for the task, and struggles to train Anakin's impulsiveness.
Episode II: Introduced the clones and created the very army that the Republic would use, which would become the army of the Empire and provide Sidious the forces he would need to kill the Jedi order. Sets up an opponent and foil for Anakin in the form of Count Dooku: an experienced force user that bests him, humiliates him, and wounds him and proves that he's just a brat that is too arrogant to be a skilled Jedi, and is proof that he has a lot to learn, halting his rise in the ranks of the Jedi making Anakin's anger at both the Jedi for not recognizing his talent, and Dooku, a outlet for that anger in the form of killing him (something Jedi aren't supposed to do), beginning his path down the darkside.
It also allows the relationship for Anakin and Padme to grow, which sets up the eventual birth of Luke and Leia, which could not have happened in Episode 1, since he was a kid and they just met, and allows the exploration of that relationship which gave the viewers time to learn and watch Anakin and Padme get closer together, threading the story closer together overall. It also gives the Jedi a reason to have been slaughtered later on, since they'd have to be forced into leading the clone army, and thus be vulnerable to Sidious' use of the programming since it'd make no sense for one Sith and apprentice to kill hundreds and hundreds of Jedi, the Jedi are at the height of their power and it only makes sense to introduce the clones for this purpose.
Episode III shows the desperation of Anakin and the seduction of Palpatine to complete Anakin's downfall to the darkside, the Jedi are destroyed largely, leaving the only two Jedi Yoda and Obiwan around, setting up for a New Hope. The empire rises with nothing to stand in its wake, and Anakin becomes Darth vader.
I mean the details might be bad maybe? But there's nothing wrong with how the prequels set up the stage. You can disagree with HOW the execution went with the dialogue, but the Prequels make total sense and accomplish the goal of setting up the OT.

I heard it was cobbled together from a few different Star Wars video games, because they all had bits and pieces but not the whole thing, and the full arrangement has never been officially released.
@@KilluaZoldyck-de1hq Just heard it in The Phantom Menace Podracer game on original Xbox. Immediately had to find this version. The chorus is amazing of course, but for some reason I just really enjoyed hearing a different version of the piece without it.
