My favorite of all time was David's description of what did **NOT**occur when he killed a wasp. I was thrilled to see this, sat straight up and said, "Oh, I love this!" I said it to myself, as no one else was in the room except two sleeping cats and they didn't care.
Absolutely! They often exhibit caring. We, my husband and I, have delighted in watching the cats being kind to each other and even our dogs. And, if one of us is under the weather, the cats snuggle right up with whomever is sick.. Not only that, but they become grief stricken if one of them dies.
I actually own that exact same wand! I knew he was telling the truth when he said it was a remote control. I don’t know where my parents got it but they tried to sell it at a car boot sale when I was a kid but before they could sell it, I found it and lay claim to it. Little Harry Potter loving me was ecstatic. You could move it in different ways to control the tv like if you rotated it one way in a circle it turned the volume up. My parents did not like it though so they never let me connect it to the tv. I just walked around with it and pretended I was a wizard. I have since come into possession of two more better looking wands so it’s been buried under stuff somewhere.
Well, I can’t actually get him the role. But I would like to see him play it. Mind you, I probably just like the idea of it. I haven’t actually watched dr who for ages. @@malahammer
One thing that irritates me is when a person, who supposedly is "highly educated," I am writing of you, Mr. Mitchell, says, "For my wife, for me, and for my mother." No, Mr. Mitchell, it should be, "For my wife, my mother, and me," or "For my wife, for my mother, and for me."
"Basically you'd wear a hat like this on the way from the cab to the scene of the murder"
Absolutely brilliant
L 07.8a
Would’ve have worked the other way round.
I really wish we could have seen David in both the hat and cape at the same time.
WILTY has to be by favourite programme EVER. Whenever i need a giggle i watch clips on You tube
I got David’s book “Unruly” for Christmas and having read it I’ve got to say him wanting a Saxon map as a kid for Xmas seems perfectly plausible
Absolutely! Such a fun way to do history.
Should try listening to the audiobook as well. David himself narrates it and it was such an earworm to listen. ❤
That's what makes it a great lie!
I got that book for Christmas as well! Looking forward to reading it.
David's proud smile after the hat and wand reveal :D
David Mitchell is bloody adorable!
how can you not ❤ david mitchell
❤😂

As a matter of curiosity, do the cats at other times exhibit caring?

3:27 that bit absolutely killed me 😂😂
David should voice a villain character in a cartoon. He has the sarcastic intonation for sure.😂
"It's the kind of nerdy thing he would have done"
Angela was definitely hurt by the amount of laughs David got with the medieval castles thing. 😅😅😅😂😂😂
The answer about the map & disproven facts was classic David 😅
David going full Hannibal Lector on a wasp is brilliant.
"but does the wand fit"
haha that went under the radar
I absolutely love David! I die laughing every time I see him!
Me too. He is my happy place 💕

You gotta hook up to your tv now and give it a go!
Such an adorable wee cutie
Straight up brilliant
Wish he was Doctor who
Doctor Whom?
Chance would be a fine thing
Or based on his wasp killing psychopath impression, he could play the Master, with Lee Mack as the quick witted Doctor.
I need the next doctor to be David and he 100% needs to be wearing that cape.
Wow. He would be amazing as Dr. Who!
what? that was far too short - more, please!
The wasp v iPad is one of the best ever!
My new head cannon is every Christmas David puts on the cape and the top hat 🤣
I think the lie is he really got that cape when he was 15. Lol
The wasp story reminds me of the skit of the Aleppo organization from Mitchell and Webb
I watched all of Peep Show in a few days when I found out David was in it it was great I want a reunion show now❤
I'd want the Saxon map! I loved history as a kid, (still do), and I've never enjoyed roller-skating. Now if it was a bicycle, that would be different.
Only old episodes re-re-re-played ...is WILTY still made?
I think the one they show on Friday night are new ones(around 8pm)....
Yes, there's a new season coming up, and an excellent new Christmas episode was recently uploaded.
David is very talented performer. Wish I saw his performance while in London five years ago. Now no chance, unfortunately.
5:54 Lee mack
Seriously people, who do we talk to? Do you think he’s been offered it and turned it down? Let’s do a petition.
Just a wild wild guess.....you're thinking of getting him the Dr Who role?????
Well, I can’t actually get him the role. But I would like to see him play it. Mind you, I probably just like the idea of it. I haven’t actually watched dr who for ages. @@malahammer
Perhaps better as a companion. They tend not to cast already very well-known TV personalities but someone up and coming.
You are entirely correct. David Tennent was the only obvious anomaly. Maybe David Mitchell could be the next. @@travelwell6049
Always laugh’s abound you’d have to be pretty miserable not to like this program thanks👍👍👍
I love David Mitchell but I'm quite concerned how good he is at being a psychopath.
In my perfect imaginary version of the UK Noddy Holder is prime minister. I don’t know why just seems right.
"ah but does the wand fits"
Is that Bill Bailey or the American 9 ball Pool ref
The Wit of the Brits. We just don't have it here. Alas.
Cape was very Jon Pertwee!
Jo Brand doesn’t look happy/well ☹️.
I don't like Lee Mack, but I am even more not a fan of the boring, predictable Acaster.

That’s not really a requirement in conversational English. Nobody speaks in prepared remarks.
Why wouldn't a highly educated person say that?
Who was the Welsh bit trying to outwit Lee Mack?!🤣
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Jones
Comedy panels should be blokes only shouldn't they Lee? Like the good old days.
Preferably the really funny ones like Jim Davidson
BIT ?!
